Definitely the best barrette I’ve ever used
I have a lot of fine, slippery hair. Finding hair accessories that have staying power has been problematic for my entire 50 years. I must send many thanks to Aurora Pin for these barrettes. I love them. First, they are plastic, but not that cheap plastic that feels like it will break into shards if you look at it wrongly. It is that beautiful plastic that has a nice flex with no sharp edges and has the feel of quality. I chose the neutral variety pack and the all black pack. Those colors work with everything. I am still considering the colorful pack, especially for when my hair turns a bit more silver. Second, they WORK. They are sized well, and have a nice tight closing mechanism (nice engineering Aurora). There are subtle teeth at the center of the barrette to smooth and hold the hair, and best of all, I can place these in my hair in the morning and they keep it in place all day!!! I know the price point seems high. Do not let that stop you from ordering. These barrettes are worth every penny and the only ones you’ll need. I encourage folks to leave Goody, Scunchi, and other big American brands behind. These barrettes out-perform anything I have ever tried from these companies. Give them a try.

Love these barrettes!
These are great barrettes. I always have trouble getting barrettes to hold in my hair but not these. I can wear them all day and they stay in place and don’t slip at all. Even better they are made of plastic and not metal. Although they are very pricey they are worth the money. I will be buying other styles of these and other colors.

Comfortable Hair Clips
Hold my hair away from face all day. Easy to use. Nice color selection. My hair is medium thick and the clips handle a decent amount of hair. The clips are lightweight so you forget you have them on.

Seems good for price
So good little clips, holds my hair well when it’s wavy or straight depending on style. Odd I didn’t get the red pair and that’s the color I wanted most…instead a purple color. I also was shorted a pair (10 instead of 12) yet they sent a flower random which is cute so pretty happy 🙂

Yeah these are cute. I’m a bargain hunter so I’ve been holding out for simple barrettes at the dollar stores and hesitated on the price of these. But I really love the clasp/closure on the set I purchased – keeps them in place. I don’t think the discount stores near me could match this design at the moment. I have curly/wavy thick hair and will be using these to pin my hair off to the side and to execute half updos of some form.

Less sturdy than expected
Very lightweight; I purchased to hold hair in a low Ponytail or chignon but barrettes are not functional for that. Not really durable.
