I get so worried about toys like this that hang off the bars because I’m so afraid of it falling while my rats are on it but I’ve had no issues! Love it!

I ordered two of these and they are good but they arrived as a bag of sticks. You need to assemble them. Not hard but a bit of a surprise.

These are extremely large for parakeets. The holes do not line up. There are far too many knots. There is also a lot of dust with a strong odor on it, it is natural, but its still strong.

If you’re looking for a more natural ladder for your birds, this is definitely not it.Upon receipt of the ladders, there was some lichen-like growth in the wood. But that’s not really an issue that scrubbing and water can’t solve. The issue is just as you see above. The rungs pop off from the screw because they can’t the installed properly.The stump the remains from removal of the former thorn doesn’t allow for the rungs to the screwed in properly. So, when securing, you run the risk of what happened to me, which is the screw transfers into the threaded nut in the main piece and you remain with a ladder you can’t use.The easy remedy for this is to shave down the area where the rung goes, so it doesn’t rub on a stump and becomes useless.I’m going to fix these defects myself, but not everyone has the patience to do so. So, get yourself something else if your bird needs it.

Mold and mildew
Unfortunately, I let these sit in the garage, so I can’t get a refund. The garage is bone dry, but when I finally went to install these in the cage, they were covered in mold.
