Too Heavy to Stay In
While these dog hair ties are just adorable, the plastic ornament is too thick and heavy to stay is top knot. the elastic band is also too thick. I tried many ways to get it to stay, but each time, she shook her head just once and the hair tie flew across the room. These are so cute but do not serve their purpose.

Great for toddlers too
I have a toddler that pulls out all hair bows. Her hair is getting some damage from the clear plastic elastic bands so this is a great alternative. I can use each one about 3-5 times before it gets stretched out and needs to be tossed.

Very cute, but hard plastic means some of them dig into dogs head
These are cute, but they are made of VERY hard plastic. Some of them just don’t work as they dig into my Babydog’s little head and hurt her! I think they would be better if made of a softer, more flexible material. They do work on the end of a braid in my hair, but that is not what they.are intended for, and not what I wanted them for. I don’t recommend these for putting in a doggie’s topknot.
