I never thought I’d say I love a sink strainer … but I love these sink strainers. They are simply the best I’ve ever used (and I’m nearly 60 so I’ve used a LOT of sink strainers in my life). I purchased these one year ago and they still look like new, and still work like new, too! I never knew what a difference a good quality, well designed sink strainer could make in my day-to-day kitchen life. They catch virtually everything yet never gets clogged up! It’s super simple to dump it out in the trash – a quick bang on the side of the trash can and everything is out of the strainer; no having to scrape stuck-on gooey food particles or stuck bits off of it. They are good looking and “freshened up” the look of my old sink. They fit my sink perfectly, and I have absolutely no complaints or negatives I can think of with them. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Great option for the sink, allows water to run off without being stagnant
I bought these twice, once in 2016 and now in 2024 again (I moved houses in between and lost one of them). I had purchased something with a more “net-like” appearance, but it constantly clogged up the sink and then the water got to stay in and couldn’t drain and it kept growing nasty stuff so I had to clean it multiple times a day. It was really gross, so I threw those away and searched my purchase history in amazon and found them again. For the same price nevertheless, which is awesome. They’re totally worth it, I am so glad I found these again. It keeps most of the bits in it so stops the sink from clogging, but due to living on a farm and constantly having to wash all sorts of animal stuff off, it’s great that it doesn’t clog up immediately and it’s easy to empty out and clean out, it doesn’t rip up the sponge (like the finer mesh one did), and it doesn’t have stuff growing between the mesh (this is a better material, very easy to keep clean). I would definitely recommend! I will buy this again when the need arises.

Get the job done!
These sink stoppers definitely get the job done and withhold particles from going down. It’s painfully obvious when there’s even 1 or 2 small pieces in them, so you’re going to be constantly emptying them. But if you got this 2 pack because you have 2 sinks, it’s easy enough to tap them against eachother to clean them out. Good purchase for the price. Fit perfectly.

My mom had these & I thought I’d giv’em a try. My boys help with the kitchen & these things are amazing. They catch fairly small particles of food (such as rice) that would normally slip past (esp when boys are doing dishes!) & seem pretty sturdy & easy to clean. The size is perfect. I just keep the old sink strainer/ basket under the sink so it’s handy when I want to plug the sink. Even after several months, I’m very happy with my purchase & will buy the same thing when these eventually die. Great value for the money!

The strainers work really great the durability of them make it easy to knock them against the trash can and get all the stuff out they rinse off easily in the crumbs and stuff do not stick to it once you rinse it off or knock it off, they are so much better than the ones I had before definitely highly recommend, I’ve had them for a couple of months now and see no signs of wear and tear or rust

I make homemade dog food which includes brown rice and was having such a time keeping some rice from escaping into the drain. This is perfect! Nothing can get through the holes except water!

Really good, I like how they are more shallow than the ones you would find it stores so it seems easier to empty and the holes aren’t micro sized so food doesn’t get super stuck.

Because I no longer live in the land of lifted trucks, country music, guns, and garbage disposals, these little sink strainers have become essential!No matter how careful you are, if you’re using the original sink strainers that came with the house, food particles (especially onions!) will end up going down the drain. Then they collect at the bottom of the draining system, become self aware, and amass into a terrifying food monster. And this food monster’s only goal in life is to back up your drains, wreak havoc, and ruin your life.And what’s worse, if your boiler’s condensate pipe drains into your sink’s draining system, it will block that up too, and your boiler will end up with an error. Goodbye heat and hot water. Food monster 1; you 0.But instead of that, you could buy these sweet babies. They fit perfectly into the standard UK drain. Sure, sometimes they get packed up with food and slow down draining, but you should probably empty it out before that ever happens. Do you actually want a food monster to form on top of your sink? That’s a dangerous game. What’s wrong with you? Have you learned nothing?But this item does a great job of keeping that pesky food away from the drains! Buy now! We will win this war!

Nice product and well built using stainless steel and has smaller drain holes than my original sink strainers that supplied with the kitchen sink. More waste/garbage are now collected.
