Little Guy Works Fine Except for Mute Button
I opted for the 3.5mm jack version so I could connect straight to my pc soundcard. It’s a cute little guy and it works fine as far as the mic goes. I was disappointed, though, that the mute button on mine doesn’t work. I would definitely like a way to turn it off without unplugging it or turning on and off in Windows. Also, you will notice, it doesn’t have a foam wind screen, but I knew that beforehand. I will note that I have not heard any pop or S sounds without it though. All-in-all it’s a decent little inexpensive mic for what it’s worth, and I’d like to think it’s just the one I received that has the bad mute button.

This thing is tiny. It came wired wrong and missing parts. It’s purely laughable pile of crap. Time to stop shopping on Amazon if they are going to allow this crap. I tossed it in the trash and will stop shopping on Amazon and switch to a reputable place from now on.

Works really well as long as you keep it close to your mouth. Seeing that its only 6 inches long and meant to sit on a desk, that can be a bit awkward. Before you ask, yet I did turn up the gain.

Decent Enough, Could Be Better
The sound quality is about the same as a standard microphone from a webcam. It’s not amazing by any means, but it’s better than what you might get from a built-in laptop microphone. It’s clearer and doesn’t suffer from that muzzle sort of effect I have had with laptop microphones.The goose neck adjusts easily and it sits flat on the desk and doesn’t move unless I want it to.Fairly good product for the asking price.

Best $10 usb microphone
I wanted a microphone to use for zoom calls that wasn’t just the inline mic on my ear buds. I took a chance with this microphone as opposed to using a knockoff podcasting microphone. Overall, I’m quite impressed with it. The sound quality is excellent and there’s a mute button. No installation was necessary, and I’m using it right now to dictate this review. I have also attached an audio file so you can get a sense of the quality. The only thing I wish were a bit different, is that I wish the wire were a bit longer. While my microphone is near my desktop tower, I could imagine it being a problem for others. Also, while the goose neck is metal, the rest of the microphone apparatus is a very light plastic. While I haven’t had problems with it sitting on my desk, it would be easy to knock over because the base has no weighting in it at all. There also need to be no kinks in the wire, because otherwise the wire will pull the microphone away since the wire is actually a good deal heavier than the microphone itself.

Not enough volume and quality
You have to get close to the microphone for your voice to be heard loud enough, so what’s the point of putting it on your desk if your voice is quiet?The recording quality is not the best either, when compared to my microphone (which is a cheap one), my voice sounds kind of lifeless and lacking definition, and it also captures a lot of background noise. Just the opinion of a moderate gamer who has tried a few microphones.The button doesn’t even indicate what function it has, and when I pressed it, it stayed stuck.
