Not perfect, but close, better than the rest
We tried three cases for a 2022 ASUS 14â OLED laptop and 2020 Apple 13â Macbook Air. We were looking for a robust case offering work-in-case and the maximum of protection. All of them were very good with at least a 4.5 average rating here on Amazon, none of them was perfect. We chose the Nacuwa 13-14 inch computer carrying sleeve. The cases we considered were:Nacuwa 13-14 inch computer carrying sleeveWork-in-case suitability: Second-best of the three. Has elastic straps that limit opening of the two halves of the case to about a 110-degree angle. Must exercise care on closing case to make sure these straps donât remain between the laptop keyboard and screen during closing, else it is possible to crack the laptop screen. (We insert thumbs into the left and right side straps to keep the straps outside the closing laptop, and close the laptop with the fingers. Hard to describe, easy to figure out once youâre faced with doing it.)Degree of protection: Tied with the FINPAC for best of the three. 4 protective layers arenât just ad copy. The outer layer is resistant to flexing: Iâd feel pretty good about this in an overloaded backpack.Fit: Best of the three. A little bit of slop for the Zenbook, moreso for the Macbook, but still acceptable.Pluses: Best zipper of the three. (Zipper failures are mentioned for these kinds of cases, and weâve seen such failures with previously-purchased cases.) All three cases had good quality zippers and integral fabric, but this one stood out.Minuses: Really wish the interior case straps didnât put the screen at risk. No handle or strap.Belkin Air Protect Laptop Case â 14âWork-in-case suitability: The best of the three. Has a very clever, adjustable harness for the screen that really works, along with fabric straps to capture the keyboard. This is probably the best solution that anyone could have. Belkin also seems to have thought about air circulation more than the others. Iâd trust this for extended work while in the case more than the others. Closing the case is as simple as swinging the case shut. No worries.Degree of protection: Not bad, but the worst of the three. Not as rigid as I wish: wouldnât protect as well against bending stresses in an overloaded backpack. Not nearly as much of the padding as other cases. Would not protect against dropping as well.Fit: Belkin makes this in only two very different sizes, which is limiting if you want a decently close fit. This 14â case has 2â of slop in both dimensions on the Zenbook, and more on the Macbook.Pluses: Has a great cloth briefcase handle on the outside of the case. None of the others do. This is really helpful.Minuses: The degree of protection is just less than we felt was acceptable.FINPACK 13.5-14-inch Hard Laptop Sleeve CaseWork-in-case suitability: Doesnât do well for this. I suppose you could open the case 360 degrees and place the laptop on top of the open case. Also I wonder how good the air circulation under the laptop is: the soft padding of the innermost layer is right up against the back of the laptop. For travel, the laptop is supposed to be in a lycra pouch inside the case, and would then have to be removed when the case was opened.Degree of protection: Fantastic, tied with the Nacuwa. 4 layers, but a different 4 than Nacuwa. Stiff outer layer.Fit: Some slop with both laptops. But there are several other sizes including one specifically for a 13-inch Macbook, so we couldâve improved on this.Pluses: Great protection. Has a little handstrap near one corner, but it doesnât seem nearly as secure as the handle on the Belkin.Minuses: Just not a work-in-case option. And there are other cases available that areThe ideal case: the Nacuwa with Belkinâs screen suspension system and briefcase handle. But since thatâs not available, weâre very happy to go with the Nacuwa.

Better than a Thule laptop case
I bought this for my MacBook Pro M1 (2020). It 100% does the job, and is a great complement to my MacBook. It’s sleek and high-quality.The thing I like best about it is its BIG zipper. IE: this zipper is not likely to fail me anytime soon, unlike the Thule zipper, which is quite a bit smaller.(Bigger zipper = lasts longer.)That said, it seems less water-resistant than my Thule. This is a fair trade-off, in my opinion, because having a durable, strong zipper is much more important for water-resistance in the long run.The case itself is both plush and rigid, so I feel very confident that it will protect my MacBook from falling/impacting.The interior pockets are also a great addition.PERFECT!

MacBook Pro 13.3, super durable
I am known to be tough on my electronics so when I got a new Mac book pro (13.3) inch I knew I wanted something that would protect it from as much as possible. I am a college student who uses their laptop all day every day and let me just say, this case is incredible. I wanted something that was durable, yet small enough to fit into my backpack so I could carry my laptop around with me and this does just that. I was hesitant on purchasing this case because the picture is misleading and makes it look bulky and heavy. Well, thatâs not the case (lol get it). Itâs super lightweight, and it protects my laptop from drops and water/spills. Itâs rained heavily while I have walked to class and when I get my laptop out in class there is no signs of water. I have had this case for 3 months now and itâs withheld very well, plus it has pockets! I keep my USB-c adapter, a mouse, and a cloth in it and Iâm sure I can keep more. I also have the MOSISO case on my laptop and it still fits in the case like a glove. It does not slide around or move at all. Overall this care is super durable and makes me feel more confident about carrying my laptop with me.

Protective Case Adds a Little Bulk; Sidebands Risk Damaging Laptop; Otherwise Solid!
There’s always seems to be a trade-off between bulk and protection and this case is no different. It’s a the sweet spot for me, but be sure to check thickness for ensuring you can fit everything into your travel case. Also, take a minute to make sure your charger fits inside case (esp. if using non-OEM charger). One reviewer commented on the *very* odd (and needless?) folds in strap connecting top and case’s base (already solidly combined at fold) that DAMAGED his monitor. His concern is NOT overblown. Closing the case without paying careful attention to where that folded is located *will* break your laptop’s monitor when it is completely closed. [See attached pic]THIS WELL-KNOWN AND FREQUENTLY CITED SERIOUS DRAWBACK FIRST MENTIONED MANY YEARS AGO AND *STILL* NOT RESOLVED. Best guess a massive quantity (full container?) of these cases purchased from China and resellers still working through/selling inventory from that shipment.–> Bottom Line: Highly Recommended. Case is well-priced for excellent protection of your laptop with strong/rugged zipper, solid outer shell, and thoughtfully included inside pockets.I’m going to cut off excess side strap folds so I don’t damage monitor when closing and bind with SuperGlue if cut too much. Taking one star off until I learn (1) reason for this flaw (could be justified, perhaps benefit just not obvious to me) and/or (2) hear that another reviewer whose laptop damaged by side straps received fair compensation or was otherwise worked out (reflection on quality of customer service).

Just pathetic. Put in MacBook Pro and iPad and you can kiss goodbye either the iPad screen or the MacBook screen…in my case MacBook screen was under pressure and died. Waste of money.. TOTALLY

Version 13-13,3 Pouces. Produit fortement recommandable.
