Won’t work on a Sony 16-50 kit lens
As has been noted by others, this vignettes on the Sony kit lens. works from from somewhere around 17mm on up, but full wide the corners are dark. Should have read the reviews first and I even had a suspicion from the way the front flares “in” instead of out it would do this..

Cap is bulky compared to Sony and the flare kit isn’t big enough for the image capture
The lens cap is at least twice as thick as the Sony cap, maybe 3x. Not a huge deal but it looks clunky on the camera.The anti-glare hood isn’t large enough to handle the camera. It blocks the corners and sides of the frame. Not a lot, but it is noticeable. It’s like one of those standard retro special effects. I think if the diameter of the hood were about 2mm wider it would be fine. I also didn’t notice any real difference in picture quality.

Vignetting at 16mm (APS-C), pitch black corners. At 18mm, it goes awayThe lens cap that’s supplied don’t fit, in fact… the original Sony ones I have fits inside this hood but not tightly

Well made but vignettes at wide angles. I should have paid attention to the description. I did find another that works down to 24mm.
