Quality ingredients
It took a few days to acclimate my budgies. However, now they scream for this food.I feel more comfortable allowing this seed mix (in addition to pellets) , because of the variety of healthier seed choices and there are also some vegetables represented.If you compare ingredients it’s easy to see,in most cases their is no comparison. This seed mix is hands down better for your bird than the most popular brands.

My picky parakeets tried this immediately
I have two parakeets who’ve been on an unhealthy mix of seeds for years. They’ve rejected pretty much all widely available pellet brands and I’d given up. I found OPF here on Amazon and decided to try it because of all the reviews about success with ‘particular types’ like mine. I can proudly attest to the successes. My birds ate it immediately!!! I didn’t have to gradually introduce this and bribe them to come near it with treats. I’ve seen turn around in their energy levels and they even seem to want sugared treats less. I’ve been able to bring in fresh veggies and although they’re slowly coming around to taking bites out of lettuce I credit OPF with this turn toward a healthier diet. My only complaint is the price for 2lbs; while I understand that ingredients likely play into price I normally need 4lbs (of commercial) bird food to avoid multi-trips to restock. The price of purchasing exclusively through Amazon is fairly expensive.

Smells fresh and my parakeet loves it!
The moment I switched to this seed mix, my parakeets couldn’t get enough of it. I’m really happy knowing that it’s made with organic ingredients and doesn’t contain any fillers or fatty seeds like every other bird seed on the market. Good variety of seeds
I saw this seed mix recommended on some budgie groups. I’m still hopeful that mine will eventually eat it all, but there still seems to be so much unwanted seeds in there. Seems to be a good quality seed mix, my birds are just being a little picky trying it. I plan on continuing to offer it and hope for the best.
