Works with the Steam Deck!
I bring my Steam Deck to work a lot and wanted an ultra portable controller to keep my setup as small as possible. I understand that the Steam Deck has a controller built into it, but it can get uncomfortable holding it arms up for too long. I mainly use my Steam Deck at work to grind mats on Final Fantasy 14 and wanted to be able to sit back while I have my Steam Deck on it’s stand integrated into the case I have on it.So I looked for the smallest bluetooth controller on here and found this little gem. It’s a super tiny controller, however you can tell it has a really good build quality and has a good layout. There were some other small controllers I found, but some of them had the trigger and shoulder buttons side-to-side rather than front-to-back like this one. I also like how the d-pad is on the inner bottom side rather than on the outside like the Steam Deck. Joysticks feel very similar to the Joycons, very short travel distance from the center, but decent for the casual gaming I’m doing. Also, if connecting to the Steam Deck run the 8bitdo Lite 2 as a Switch controller (S setting selector in the middle of controller) not the Android setting (D setting selector in the middle of controller), and the Steam Deck will recognize it as a Switch Pro controller. I tried connecting it through the Android bluetooth setting and it had some issues. Took me a minute to realize this, but the charging light is at the top, on the bottom are the lights to show if the controller is on, if bluetooth syncing is on, and what player you are for Switch. I know this was designed mainly for the Switch and the colors were developed for that in mind, but I really wished there were more color options! Other than that I have had no issues with the controller.

For it is, this is perfect
Is this as comfortable as my PS5 or XBox controllers, no – but it is WAY more portable. The size of this is good, it takes up practically no space in a bag – perfect phone companion controller or for taking on road trips, it works pretty seamlessly, my daughter booted up Minecraft on the Tab S8 and it worked right out the box. Despite the smaller frame, all the controls you’ll want are right there and being USB-C – which should be a default these days, but isn’t – is great for us as we always have a USB-C charger.

Good Bluetooth game pad that’s also portable.
8BitDo has always had good controllers that work for all kinds of different devices, and the Lite 2 is no exception. It’s a little smaller than the Pro 2 in terms of length and height, but a significantly smaller width which makes it great for portability. Buttons are a little on the smaller side, I’d say comparable in size to the buttons on the Zero 2. It does auto connect making it easy to use after you’ve paired it for the first time as well. Feels somewhat sturdy while still being light. If you’re looking for a portable Bluetooth controller that still has all the bells and whistles and are willing to shell out a bit more money (since it is $30), you can’t go wrong with the Lite 2.

Exactly what I always wanted
This little controller is wonderful, fits right in my pocket but somehow the controls don’t feel cramped at all. The buttons feel great, very responsive. I only wish there were more colors to choose from, like maybe a black version. I use this controller to play games like Minecraft on my Android phone, much nicer than touchscreen controls.

Great controller for smaller hands.
I have fairly small hands, so using some of the larger controllers can be difficult for me. The 8Bitdo Lite 2 is the perfect size for my baby hands. It has great battery life and power retention; I left it off for a month, came back to play some SNES games with it, and it still had plenty of power left. The buttons are soft but not mushy, and the control sticks are small but work effectively.

Love it
It’s a little pricey for how cheap it feels in the hand, but the controller works very well. Buttons and sticks feel good, connectivity and battery life are great as well.

Doesn’t Last
Really cute controller and was great for two months, then buttons started becoming unresponsive and needing hard presses to register. This is with casual play on the go – maybe two to three hours per week.

Beats a joycon for Switch, great for phone games
Bought this as a spare, while not the best controller for a switch compared to the many full size controllers, compared to a Joy Con it’s fantastic. Also tried it for some retro games and for some games on iPad. This won’t be my main controller but as a cheap portable or a spare or to make playing games on mobile a lot better than using virtual control sticks on screen it’s great.

Están muy padres y son de buena medida ( si tienes manos muy grandes no te lo recomiendo) se conectó en seguida a mi android y con el Nintendo fue igual , funcionan de maravilla .

Great for ipas pro m4. Little controller to pack around in your bag that doesn’t take up a lot of space. Works great and easy to use.
