the Best Controller at incredible price
Its insane how good this controller is. the Feel is great, its hall effect has its own dongle + Bluetooth, Looks really good and and feels awesome. just can’t stress enough how good it is. if you are getting it for PC gaming I can tell its way better than the XBOX controller in my opinion. Just wanted to Thank 8bitdo for making this incredible controller.

Good value, not perfect
I like the feel of the face buttons and analog sticks a lot, but the triggers are frankly terrible. There is very little travel and which leads to a lack of finesse in driving games. I have also had occasional disconnects when using the dongle on PC. Not bad for the price especially with the hall effect sensors, but the user experience is definitely not as good as first party Microsoft or Sony controllers.

Solid upgrade.
System(s) used: PCHand size: Large (21 cm x 9.75 cm across palm, not including thumb).Cons: 1) Joystick material is very slippery except on the textured sides. If using a light touch the included joystick covers are basically mandatory.Pros: 1) Joystick covers work great and feel great. Stick to your finger even with very light pressure. 2) Face buttons are flatter than the XBox nubs. They feel a bit too stiff at first but they break in nicely. 3) Mapping/Turbo buttons are flush with the controller body so it’s hard to accidentally press them. 4) Both the hall effect joysticks and triggers feel tight. There isn’t a lot of jiggle in the neutral position. The joysticks also have noticeably more resistance than an XBox controller. 5) The polling rate difference (XBox at 125 Hz; this at 500-1000 Hz) is very noticeable. Frustratingly so. This obviously depends on the genres played but with fighting games it’s night and day. 6) No setup. Just plugged in the dongle, pressed power on the controller, and good to go.Other: – Boxier than an XBox controller (closer to a PS controller) and the palm grips are smaller. This sits somewhere between a PS4 and XBox controller in both shape and size. – Clicky D-Pad. I think it feels good (much better than the standard XBox) but I also don’t use D-Pad much. – L4/R4 are actually great if you use claw grip or have big hands. Didn’t think I’d use them but they’re surprisingly comfortable.

Perfect controller does exist.
Everything about this controller is perfect.I have being playing intensively since October 17 2024 the following games- Rivals of Aether 2 (High pace platform combat)- HellBlade 2- Wuthering Waves (Hack and slash but gacha)- Genshin Impact (i know, i have to quit this one)so more that 350 hours of playing with the same controller for sure.No issues so far.

This controller is pretty nice. Quality construction and good feel. The ergonomics arenât perfect for me, personally. If you have larger hands it can be a little awkward, but not uncomfortable.For the price it is worth it, for sure.

Worth the price
It can connect to Windows by Bluetooth (Win11 btw), which is not mentioned. But in that case, some games won’t recognize your controller. I tried to play Geometry Dash with my controller by Bluetooth connection but failed, it still works perfectly with a 2.4G receiver. Many games still detect the Bluetooth connecting controller. Overall, it’s a perfect controller

I was thoroughly impressed by this controller, especially for the instant responsiveness when you use the 2.4 dongle with it, there is zero lag or latency between controller and inputs when you do it that way. I didn’t try the bluetooth since I bought it to use with my steam deck while docked and connected to a monitor.The control is comfortable, easy to charge with a USB-C port, and has the nice little bonus of a Turbo function. The bonus of having 3 trigger buttons on each side gives you the option of more key binds if you want.The price was low for such a good device, I was quite impressed. Plug the USB dongle into your PC, and its instant detect, no setup, pure plug and play.

This works perfectly as a replacement for the other controller I was using on my PC. I love the colour of it, the feel, and the battery seems to last forever. Super happy with my purchase, 8Bitdo is doing it right.

I bought two of them (they only had pink and purple at the time) to replace my MSI gaming controller (which was meant to replace my cheap PS3 controllers) for my pc, as it had huge dead areas with the analog joysticks. These are perfect for me. Wireless (or with the charging cable plugged in) is a bonus. They will also work with with phones and such too. Zero dead spaces and are real accurate when they need to be!

The hall effect joysticks are subtle and awesome to use. The controller will work over Bluetooth, but I recommend the USB dongle because it has a much higher polling rate and feels much more responsive.Pricing is okay for Canada and the color is nice minty fresh. There are enough programmable buttons. I recommend this as it is also rechargeable something that still is not present in the standard Microsoft controllers
