A Reliable and Efficient Cooking Companion: CUSIMAX Double Burner Review
I’ve been using the CUSIMAX Double Burner for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. It’s been helpful for my kitchen, allowing me to cook multiple dishes simultaneously with ease. The ceramic infrared cooktop is surprisingly durable and easy to clean, and the dual control feature makes it a breeze to adjust the heat on each burner independently. In my experience, the 1800W power is more than enough for most of my cooking needs, and the stainless steel base provides a sturdy foundation. One minor drawback is that the glass plate can get quite hot during extended use, but it’s not a major concern. Overall, I’d highly recommend the CUSIMAX Double Burner to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient cooking companion.

Love it! Careful sides get hot!
Love this hotplate! Great heat distribution, very stable for any pot or pan, we even use it with a wok and it works perfectly. It looks nicer than anything else I have had, it’s durable enough for daily use, great value!Do be aware that the whole thing gets hot on top and sides. It’s perfectly safe and we have never had any problems with it but I think if we were cooking with kids I would be nervous about them touching the rounded sides.

It works well but be careful………
This is my backup for when the propane stove in my RV runs out and I’ve used the electric stove several times. There is an on/off control on the back that has to be turned on, then there is a switch for each of the individual burners. When I say “be careful” it’s because the front burner controls move easily and unless you are using both burners and intend to turn them both on, you can accidentally turn on one and burn the handle of the pot or skillet on the burner that you are intending to use. This works as appropriately as a regular electric stove and is otherwise easy to use.

Well built and easy to cook with
I live in a house that is too small for an oven/range unit, so I depend on a single burner, toaster oven, grill, and microwave for all my cooking. This replaced a nine year old Oster 900W single burner which did a great job for me until the knob broke off. 900W wasn’t quite enough to do some of the larger soups and stews that I like to make, so I purchased this 1500W burner from Cusimax. I couldn’t be happier. The large diameter burner allows me to use my larger frying pan and pots, and the heat output and control is excellent. The only issue I had was inadvertently bumping the on/off dial and turning the unit on by mistake. I didn’t realize it until I heard some popping sounds and burning smells and ran to turn it off. Now, I make sure to unplug the unit after each use. Still, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Good price. Does get hot when run for a long time (be careful). It could be just a touch bigger for my canner, but once it heated up, it kept a very steady temp and worked great.

It is a perfect compact size. Works Great! It is my daily cooking on the patio, and I enjoy the lake view. It is a good product, a perfect factory box packed, and a quick delivery.I love using this product.

I’ll start off with the good. I like that this hot plate has a turn dial on the back that turns the hot plate on and off. That’s very good for safety just in case you accidentally turn the temperature dials on the front on. I think if you have kids that like to touch things, that’s a very good safety feature to have. If you want to buy this as a replacement for a stove, I wouldn’t recommend it. The hot place turned off after maybe 5-10 minutes of using it. Once it turns off, it stays off for maybe 3-5 minutes before turning on again. I think it did this so it can cool down a little and not overheat which makes sense but it makes cooking longer. For example, if you want to boil something it’s going to take longer than it would with a stove to heat up. Also,I don’t know what material was on the hot surface (I think it’s rubber) but when the plates were hot it smelt like that material and in some cases, I was scared it might be burning while I was cooking. Although this wouldn’t be a good replacement for a stove and it took longer to cook, I would still recommend it since it did work and I was able to cook with it. Overall, you buy it so you can cook and I was able to do just that.

Our 32 year old oven stopped working then short circuited due to frayed, crumbled insulation on some wires. We ordered a new stove but it was going to take three days to arrive so we ordered this hotplate which arrived the next day to be able to do some simple cooking until the new stove arrived. This lovely little hotplate looks elegant and heated food efficiently albeit less forcefully than the old coil stove top. Then we got the new stove so this hotplate will come in handy to use at the table to keep food warm when we have burritos or fondu.

The elements heat up evenly thanks to their cast iron covers.The elements take some time to get up to temperature, boiling 2 litres of water takes awhile.Good temperature control at lower setting for Eg. eggs.
