They changed the material of the outer shell
This is my saga looking for a case for my new iPhone 15.Tried the OtterBox because it offers a small cover to the charging port and would prevent the lint accumulation that happens on all iPhones over time and they stop charging. The problem was a poor fit between the outer and the inner shell and poor texture of the case. Not cheap at close to 35 bucks. Returned it and went back to the Incipio Duo, of which I have had several in the past and always been happy. Once I got it, the fit between the two shells is perfect but they changed the material of the outer shell. This makes the case very slippery. It is very easy to inadvertently drop the phone. Not cheap also at close to 35 bucks. Here we go, return again.I opted now for a Ornarto Silicone case. Nice and wide choice of colors, nice texture and great hold. And bonus point: it is the third of the price of the previous ones…

Not what I was expecting.
This case is not what I was expecting. I assumed it was like the older Incipio case I have now but itâs not. The old case has a nice rubbery grippy feel to it. This new one just feels like cheap plastic and is very slick. They also claim itâs scratch resistant, but itâs not. It actually scratches real easy just with my fingernail. I will be returning this case. Incipio has gone down hill.
