Excellent earbuds at a reasonable price
I have never written a review without being asked, but in this case it is worth it. I have searched for earbuds with real noise cancelling at a decent price, but the good ones are too expensive for my pocket. These earbuds meet both conditions for me. They have excellent sound, the noise cancelling may not be 100% but for me they are great, the connection via Bluetooth to the computer or phone is fast, the ear cushions are soft while adapting to the ears and do not fall out, the battery lasts a long time. In general, I don’t know if I will change my opinion with time, but so far I am happy with them.

Work really well. Noise cancelling is excellent.
Bought for the noise cancelling and hearing protection to replace current buds. I like them.I’m not that familiar with features on these new buds (my wife has Galaxy buds) but, pretty nice. All the tapping and holding for 2 second operations take some getting used to.Battery life with noise cancelling is 4 to 6 hours. Normal mode is 8 hours. The case has a built in battery. It lasts for 3 or 4 charges until you have to plug it in. Charge cord provided. The ambient mode (transparency) is a nice feature.Directions were a bit odd. Open and close the lid for pairing? Nope. Hold the hidden button down for 6 seconds.Bluetooth range is not as far as I’m used to.. Approximately 30 feet. They give 4 pairs of different size tips, which is nice. You have to put the buds back in the case to pair with another device. Some noise while working with the power tools but it wasn’t bad.I have really good hearing (for an old man) so I’ve been wearing Beats Blue buds for hearing protection, yard work, traffic, restaurants, motorcycle rides, etc. I’ve been wearing these Earfun buds for a few days while repairing the deck and working in the yard. I listen to music or books on Audible while working but they work well for hearing protection when not listening to anything.

A real bang for the buck, but some important information not disclosed in the product page
Let me preface this by saying that I am not an audio expert, but rather a regular user. I had been a user of Earfun Air Pro 3 for about a year and I REALLY liked it. So, I was excited when the Earfun Air Pro 4 came out and I bought it since I got a 30% off (early adopter benefits ig). And it actually is what it advertises itself as! It features Sony’s LDAC codec, along with Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codecs, AND Bluetooth LE support with the LC3 codec, which is literally unheard of for the pricepoint that it sells at. On top of that, it has Google Fast Pair support and has the runs atop the latest Bluetooth 5.4 standard. I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro so I have all of the aforementioned feature and codec support.First impressions are completely positive. Even without using any equalizers, it sounds crisp and wonderful. The bass is just where it should be and isn’t overpowering. Same with the treble. It has 6 noise cancellation levels. The noise cancellation is excellent for its price point. I felt that the AI based noise cancellation settings need some work, so I primarily stick with the Strong and Balanced settings. It also has numerous built-in EQ profiles and a custom equalizer for anyone who needs it. I haven’t had the opportunity to test the battery life, but I belive it would be better than the previous Earfun Air Pro 3 since that lasted very long for my use case. I NEVER had it run out on me, so I expect the same with this. The in-ear detection feature also works great. Now, onto some criticism …What I didn’t like is that Earfun never mentioned that you cannot have the options of all codecs at once. They’re all an either or. AptX is the most “compatible” codec with it not affecting the availability of other features of the product. LE and LDAC have to be enabled manually, and are mutually exclusive. On top of that, enabling LE **disables** the aptX and LDAC codecs, Fast Pair support, and Game Mode support. I then later researched this and found out that the codec disabling is because of the experimental nature of the LC3 (Bluetooth LE) codec. It doesn’t mention it, but enabling LDAC **disables** the aptX and LC3 (Bluetooth LE) codecs since I couldn’t find the option to switch to the other two in the codecs in the Developer Options menu. Also, when you do enable the LE codec, you then have to manually go into the Bluetooth settings for the Pixel and then enable LE Audio, but that’s probably a Google issue. However, when you do have that option selected and go into the Developer Settings option, it doesn’t show LC3 codec as selected but rather says “Use System Selection (Default).” I am not sure what’s going on, but I will give the benefit of the doubt here that LE is indeed active, and it is some bug on Android’s side. What I also don’t like is that the in-ear detection is VERY sensitive. It just takes a little bit of the earbud to loosen in the ear for it to activate, which is really frustrating especially in outdoor settings and in physical activity based settings. I hope they can somehow lower the sensitivity.Overall, it’s an extreme value product and is a steal for its price point, and more so when you have discount coupons. Consider the points I listed above when purchasing the product. I have attached some settings pages that reflect the features and restrictions of the product with different settings, for you to consider.

    Great ear buds!
I think the sound quality is very good. I have them connected to a Motorola EdgePro 2023. They are connected via Qualcomm’s aptX driver. The EdgePro runs a Qualcomm chip, so no issues there. I tried connecting them to my Pixel 6a, and they used the aptX driver as well even though the 6a does not use Qualcomm. Whichever, I’m happy.I use these while riding my bike, so wind noise is a major issue. One of the EarFun noise cancelling modes is wind noise. It works quite effectively, and I experience no discomfort even after a couple hours of riding. My previous earbuds were Soundcore liberty 4nc’s. I think the Soundcores do a better job of noise cancelling (which is borne out by several reviews and youtube videos) but after an hour or so I found them to be uncomfortable. It wasn’t the fit, but my ears seemed to get fatigued by the noise cancelling like there was pressure building up. Removing and replacing them did not help. I tried every noise cancelling mode.I did run into one problem with the EarFuns. I normally have two phones with me, one set up as a riding computer (no SIM) and the other is my main phone where I listen to music and take the odd phone call. Around once an hour the sound would drop to mono for fifteen seconds or so then jump back to stereo. Really weird. EarFun’s customer service gave me a bunch of things to try and offered to replace them if none of them worked. While their suggestions didn’t help, I found that what seemed to be triggering the issue was having hotspotting enabled on my main phone which the second phone was linking to. No hotspotting, no dropout. It isn’t that big of a deal — as long as I know what is causing it. I mention it here mostly so that if anyone else experiences this to try turning off hotspotting to see if that solves the problem. Bottom line: I still have the Soundcores. I use the EarFuns while riding and the Soundcores stay home. I will have the Soundcores with me on my next plane flight, though, because they do have better noise cancelling of plane noise.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

For well under US$100, these earbuds deliver exceptional value for money. I have always had good experience with Earfun products, and these EFAP 4’s do not disappoint. Recommend.

I bought these after having lost one of my Anker Soundcore P3s and replacing them with Anker Soundcore A1s I wasn’t happy with; and to be honest – these are a step above both – I also didn’t want to pay ridiculous prices for anything I’d break or lose (but would on good wired cans)I studied music production, and have tried quite a few different sets of headphones. These types of earbuds are purely for enjoyment and something to throw in my bag.I was never happy with the Soundcore line, the low end was too much and not enjoyable, and meant I had to EQ a lot and I was never happy. These I’m using flat EQ straight out of the box, and I’m really pleased with how they sound – they’re just enjoyable to listen to; and really shine on anything that can support AptX using lossless files. No, they’re never going to beat high end wired or cans, but just for general walking around listening enjoyment they do the trick. They’re comfortable, and sit well. I’ve replaced the tips with Spin fit ones as they seem to sit better, and they’ve been another upgrade to the sound too (more rounded enjoyable low end due to better seal and not covering the driver hole like the supplied tips do slightly)Connecting via Bluetooth was a piece of cake, I just had to do it twice after they required a firmware update; but the dual connection is really useful as I have them connected to an iPhone using Spotify and my Fiio M6 supporting lossless/AptX. Super easy to setup. The touch controls on Bluetooth headphones have never been for me, as I find I knock them if I ever have re-place the buds in my ears, but these have a couple of handy things. The button you use for volume control is actually quite obvious, so you can avoid touching it- but also I’ve turned off the one touch control, so the functionality of the button is still usable in my case.I’ve turned off the one touch function, and have double/triple touch set to different functions then long press for volume control (meaning I never skip track or deafen myself accidentally turning up the volume). Also being able to assign the different ANC functions to a button means I don’t need the app to turn it on and off (which is useful when it comes to the Fiio M6.Highly recommend these if you want good value all round easy to use headphones; recommend the spin fit ear tips for an upgrade too.Not totally a fan of the visual design, but they doesn’t phase me; just functional and usable.

Przy tej cenie genialna propozycja. Świetna holografia (przestrzeń, separacja). Dobrze kontrolowany bas.
