It is really good and suports really well for any laptop with similar dimensions as lenevo legion. Comes included with a usb to usb cable which is really nice. Also has 4 adjustable height excluding it being completely flat and personally being able to control fanâs speed is a great plus. And itâs blue led light that truns on along with the fan gives a nice ambiance.

I needed a cheap air cooling solution for a homelab virtualization platform utilizing four old laptops in a proxmox cluster. This setup is working quite well. Even under load these systems are running under 40*C. Im super happy that these were cheaply available and delivered same day! So long as the fans donât give out this should do just fine for my use case. They are made of plastic that does not seem very sturdy. I believe the other reviews of them breaking are truthful, so just take it easy with these and you should be fine. Cheers!

Using to cool an ASUS AX-89x router
Like some of you looking for a way to cool your router this fits my ASUS AX-98x router perfectly. I have 60-70 devices on my router with 2 mesh nodes picking up half of those wifi clients. The router has it’s own small fan but it’s smack in the middle of the router puling air from the bottom and diffused to the outer top, not directly out which traps the heat. I guess I could cut out the top of the case to improve air flow but I’d rather put it on a laptop cooler. It puts the router “on display” at an angle.The bottom is very warm to the touch and the top is warm as well. This should bring down the temps a little. After 10 minutes I felt the top and bottom and they were very cool. I’m not running Open-WRT on my ASUS router so I can’t see temps. It also saves a little space with it elevated on an angle since the router is very wide and takes up a lot more space than the average router. It has to be elevated because if it’s laying flat, the fans would be flush against the bottom and won’t move air. If you wanted it flat you’d have to put some spacers to allow the fans to get air intake.As for the air output it’s pretty weak. It’s enough to push air to a router or laptop. I would say it’s “better than nothing”. I like that you can adjust the speed of the fans. At low speed it’s pretty quiet. At higher speeds it’s a little noticeable. It’s a little louder than the fan on the router. I wish I could turn off the LED fan lights. They get brighter the faster you set them.For a laptop I expect it to reduce temps on a regular laptop and not a gaming laptop with a 30 or 40 series Nvidia GPU. It’s providing fresh cool air under your laptop so your laptop fan doesn’t have to work as hard and those laptop fans can get loud. It should also keep the bottom of your laptop cool when you take it off to put it on the top of your lap.I also like that it has an extra USB port as it would take up precious USB ports on a laptop but keep in mind that it’s USB 2.0 so I wouldn’t plug in any USB 3.0 peripherials like high speed scanners, hard-drives, etc… It has 2 USB ports but you are powering the fans with one of them via the included USB 2.0 A to A cable.

Good for the price, temporarily
Purchased it for of course the over heating laptop. But after a couple of months the stand broke, slightly weak. The rest worked pretty good, then the cable and usb inserted started to fail. I didnât mind. After it was just a laptop pad as the fans stopped working all together. Today it will be thrown out. It worked for a good while. But i guess itâs my fault for not taking care of it. Itâs great if you take care of it and good for the price.During my use, the temperature was good for the laptop, not a single noise was made and simple to use. Nice appearance, barely noticeable and cool additional lighting.All n all okay.

Sturdy and quiet.
Pleasantly surprised at how well built this is for the price. The top (where the computer sits) is metal, and the rubber feet prevent any scooting around. The fans are quiet and efficient, sometimes I have to double check that I remembered to turn it on. The blue led light isnât obnoxiously bright, and a helpful indicator of when itâs on/off. I got 2 of these, one for my 13â ultralight and one for my husbands huge 16â gaming laptop. Both fit fine and stable, and are cooled sufficiently. Folds down fairly small, and fits in a laptop bag.

Let’s stats with my system specs to get a better understanding of the cooling needed. I have an Alienware Intel i7 with 20 cores and GTX 3080ti. As you may know CPU and GPU are both power hungry. The same CPU for AMD pulled less power then Intel. You can check those reviews out on Toms Hardware. Alienware laptop does a good job by itself on keeping the temperatures at reasonable level. Longevity of the health of the laptop, I’m more worried about keeping the depursing heat away from the main components, exspecialy the battery.I bought the cooler which has two around 5 inches. Let’s stat with the strong points of this unit. With the fans running at a top speed of 2200 rpm, it’s considerably noticeable the amount of air it produces. The fans built in blue LED, which is nice. However, you can’t turn them off. The LEDs are brith enough to be noticable but not overwhelming. The unit itself feels pretty solid and at the same time. Feels cheaply made, For my needs, I’m fine with the build quality, this maybe be a deal breaker for some. Considering, I purchased the unit for $10.00 dollars.One thing to take note of, part of the unit where you adjust the height level. That part does not stay in place when being picked up.If you can purchased the unit for $10.00! Would be a worth wild investment!

This laptop cooler completed my set up as I recently got a new work laptop. It does the job and feels pretty solid with adjustable fan speed and additional USB slot.The USB slot was useful since the cooler took up my last USB A slot so I had nowhere to connect my mic but with the additional USB A slot behind the cooler it was perfect for my mic connection.Not too noisy since the laptop fan spool is louder even when maxed out.I’d recommend this cooler ðð¼.

Bought this on Dec 16, 2023. It broke on April 8, 2024. So lasted less than 4 months. The plastic base broke in half on one side so is useless unless laid flat and still not stable now. Didn’t drop it, simply use it on my lap with my laptop. Plastic is too thin.Kind of ironic because I was soon going to write a 5 star positive review. Prior to breaking it was great. No more laptop overheating, quiet fans and a good multi-height tilt system.Tried to contact seller but keep getting re-directed to Amazon support who keep saying contact the seller.EDIT: The seller contacted me and provided me a no-charge replacement for the broken one. As previously mentioned, it works great, my laptop no longer overheats and no longer shuts down. The fans are also very quiet and adjustable. Updated rating to 5 stars.
