Great lighting
This is the first time I’ve tried using LED strip lights and they didn’t disappoint. It’s a nice not too bright quality. I easily put them up and connected two strips together. I used it as uplighting in my outdoor gazebo. We’ll see over time if the adhesive stays put, but so far so good.
Practically Speaking –
YES, They Are!
– Very Bright: at least equal to, if not brighter than, the brightest high-density SMD (150/m) strips I have used from LEDMO and other suppliers available here. I do a lot of indirect / cove lighting, and one of these can comfortably light a smaller room. Several could easily reach standard office illumination levels. – Warm White: Again, only my subjective observation, but I am picky about WW LEDs actually being -warm- like incandescent. These are great, just what I would expect for 2700K. – Accurate Color: i have bought and used sooo many cheap ‘white’ LED strips that have purple tinge, green edges, draw immediate observations like “looks like a cheap fluorescent” and all sorts of other color anomalies. The phosphor on these COB strips produces light that looks great. To my eyes, as good as any high-quality LED lamp, bulb or strip you might find at retail. – Cheap: Yes, when you buy something cheap you are going to get something cheap. These strips are made up of cuts from several others, assembled to make the specified length. The ones I received had five or more splices over 30ft â two within the last two feet. I do -not- consider the splices a defect. It’s just how things work, and I am happy to save $$ and put up with them. The splices were quite well-done, however, with no break in the phosphor or the IP65 silicone coating.AND FINALLY, all the reviews whining that “the power supply isn’t included” … the listing I bought from only mentioned the strip. And when they arrived, there were no surprises or disappointments.

Great light
Just learning about LEDs and there’s way more to it than I thought. The Pautix stuff all seems to work well and these lights give a great, even light, especially when used with mounting tracks with frosted covers – makes for a very professional looking install under cabinets, in gazebos etc.

Happy with the product, but 1 failure and a packaging issue
These lights have performed well for me in an outdoor installation of deck lighting of approx. 220 ft of step lighting. I did have a strip that had a single segment (1.6 in or so) not light up, only after installation – had to be ripped off and re-done. Also, when I ordered a single spool to finish the job, the spool arrived in my mailbox with no packaging other than the branded zip lock plastic – just had a label slapped on that – have not yet tested that strip, but it appeared to have gotten a little beat up in transit. I view that as unacceptable packaging. Not sure who gets the blame there. Having said all that, the lights are beautiful continuous COB strips with high density. They dim smoothly and so far have endured a number of heavy rains, mounted underneath some deck bench seating, and under the overhang of steps. I have been using some marine heat shrink to waterproof both ends, as there is just a waterproof sleeve that is open at the ends. I’ll update this review with some night time photos when fully complete. I would probably not have subtracted a star for the packaging issue, but the failure was disappointing and time-consuming.

USED PRODUCT
The item I received was very obviously used eventhough I paid for a new item. The adhesive back had debris on it and some parts did not have the protective backing anymore. The light was already cut in one section and was rolled back into the packaging like it was a recycled/returned product that had already been used. The item description says “dimmable” but does not mention you have to buy the dimmer/dimmable power cord separately. I did buy the “power cord bundle” but it is not dimmable. Adhesive backing is lousy and kept falling off even after only minutes of installing. Very unhappy and will return the item.

Well made strip light
I bought the 2700k, 24′ strip light. Solid made with very good brightness, true color representation at 2700k. I purchased an upgraded 24v, 5 amp power supply (ALITOVE AC 100-240V to DC 24V 5A Power Supply Adapter Converter with 5.5 x 2.1mm) instead of the 2 amp rated one in case I wanted to attach an additional length of lights. Helps minimize power supply light turn on delay time too. Looks well made compared to others I looked at. Hopefully it will last as long too.
