Love the FIFINE XLR/USB Microphone AmpliTank Tank3 microphone!Sounds great, super solid quality and build, easy setup – for my use of this microphone it works amazing and I have absolutely zero complaints at this time.This microphone was purchased to replace a previous Fifine microphone that had a touch sensitive “tap to mute feature” that shorted out internally and I was a tad hesitant on purchasing another Fifine unit.However, the AmpliTank 3 microphone feels like a huge step up in build and audio quality. I am absolutely pleased with this purchase and encourage anyone that is considering this microphone on their budget to purchase it and see how it performs for themselves.Note: Electronics fail, such as life – I’m hopeful to get a bit more time out of this item than the other model and cannot reiterate how thankful I am that I gave Fifine another chance to prove their quality.

Very solid built microphone
I want to say this microphone is built like a tank and is probably where it gets its name. It has a solid thick metal build with a metal windscreen on it that has little to no give. Because of the thick metal on it it does really good at controlling electromagnetic interference from computers and filters out unwanted noise. The added versatility of being an XLR and USB microphone is awesome.The sound of this microphone is pretty good. It has a slightly boosted low end that is very well controlled and pleasing to my ear. In the middle frequencies it does come across a bit boxy but nothing too offensive to where a listener would get turned off by. Lastly, it is a bit sibilant for my voice in the upper frequencies but nothing too apparent for the average everyday listener to catch. I used this microphone on my guitar amp and it sounded pretty good because of that boost in the higher frequencies.I would say given the price of this microphone and the build quality as well as the sound, I think Fifine could have sold this for $150 and it would still be worth the money. I think it’s a great buy and unless you are very into audio I couldn’t see you having too many complaints if you are the average everyday person who just wants a new microphone.

Great mic, itâs well made and feels sturdy and not cheap at all. For this particular one you do need to already have a mic arm to install it on as this one doesnât come with one. Great sound, I donât have to speak particularly loud as it picks up everything. It does a good job at dealing with background noise but youâll want to clean it up anyways for max quality. The XLR and USB connections gives you plenty of options when using this and I really like the audio input for live listening.

I switched from the yeti blue mic to this one. The yeti was picking up too much background noise. Iâm not an audio expert, just needed something that wouldnât pick up the smallest thing going on in the farthest reaches of my house. Very happy with the sound quality and build.
