Reviews that say the dock doesn’t support HDCP for Netflix are incorrect. Tested on an M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Also, instead of installing the driver from the manufacturer, open a thermal and run `sudo kextload -b com.apple.driver.usb.realtek8153patcher`, enter your admin password, and perform a restart.

Received a faulty power adapter and won’t turn on… but the customer service team were exceptionally well at handling it and very responsive in communication! They sent a replacement as soon as possible.(Update) I managed to fix the power adapter on my own and get the hub to work: functional wise: it works as advertised with proper thunderbolt speeds.

Mac display support is not dual display, even for M1 Pro
This seems like a reasonable docking station at first glance, and is one of the best-priced stations out there for TB4. I purchased it to replace an older docking station that had stopped working. I wanted dual display support, audio, plenty of USB ports, and thunderbolt out so I could daisy chain them.Before purchasing I studied the documentation carefully, and there was some seemingly conflicting information about Mac dual display support. The FAQ section says dual display is possible for M1 Pro (but not for M1), and I have an M1 Pro chip. The brochure part of the description says that for Mac, the only possibility for two HDMI displays is mirroring.It turns out the brochure, not the FAQ, is right. Worse, the mirrored display defaults resolution to the “lowest common denominator” display (the smaller display), making it entirely useless. In the MacOS settings app, when two displays are connected to the built in HDMI, only one display is listed there. I can get it to display separately on two displays only if I have a separate USB3->HDMI dongle, but then, what’s the point of having “dual HDMI?” It just seems like a really poor design. And this is NOT a limitation of the Mac or macOS, because it works fine with a different docking station I’ve used.I will be returning it during the return window.It’s what I get for buying a product where most of the reviews are from free giveaways, instead of real purchasers.

Does not support HDCP streaming video and issues with audio output.
I purchased 2 of these docking stations to allow me to work on matching dual monitor setups at my home and office. Both of them will not show protected streaming content and cause the screens to black out and restart multiple times. This means Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and many other streaming services will not work through this docking station. In addition, I have many websites that are also effected due to video advertisements that will cause the screens to cut out. Even Spotify will cause the screens to cutout if the video feature is active. In addition, the audio output does not work, so I have to run any audio output directly from the laptop. I have a MSI Steath 17 with dual ACER 4k monitors connected via HDMI.

No me arrepiento de haber comprado este, porque además de tener un gran precio, funciona tan perfectamente y lo mejor de todo es que cuando no ocupas un conector lo puedes apagar, me regalaron unos audífonos USB, y cuando quiero ampliarlo el sonido con las bocinas, simplemente lo apago del job que lo puede pegar con cinta adhesiva de doble cara a mi mueble y es una maravilla, además de poder tener más cerca donde conectar mis dispositivos de verdad es UNA GRAN COMPRA

Using on my laptop for about three months now and I am pleased. Like the way I can turn off devices without needing to unplug them. Seems solid and was in perfect working order when it arrived.Ordering another on for my office pc.
