Perfect for the outdoorsman or professional photographer
Now, I’m no professional photographer, but I do own a Canon 30D with a 200mm Tamron lens, a 50mm lens, a 35mm Canon A1 film camera with a lens on it, and two other lenses for it as well. This backpack holds all of them perfectly with extra space for my film autowinder, extra rolls of film, and other extra little gear like tripod attachments, camera straps, and remotes. This thing is incredible. I got this backpack because I was tired of having camera equipment lying around because it wouldn’t fit in my smaller bag. I wanted to be able to store everything in one spot and be able to know where everything is. I also wanted a backpack I can grow into, so I needed one with extra space for when I upgrade my camera body and buy additional lenses. This has everything and more.I had spinal fusion surgery a little under 5 years ago to correct scoliosis and I have 15 of my vertebrae fused. Ever since then, finding a backpack that doesn’t cause me serious amounts of back pain has been a challenge, which sucks because I’m an avid hiker and carry heavy gear on those hikes. Because of the ability to adjust the tops of the straps on the backpack, as well as there being a chest strap and waist belt, I can have my backpack fully loaded, weighing well over 15 pounds, and I get zero back pain. Everything is fully adjustible, which is a dream. I also get a lot of neck pain because it is pretty much the only part of my spine I can move and bend, and there is always a lot of tension there. The included caribiner straps on the shoulder straps are amazing! I hook my film camera to it and it takes the weight off of my neck, which eliminates the need for a strap for it all together. I never would have thought of ever wanting something like that, but it was such a smart move. The laptop pocket is a little bit cramped when fully loaded, even for my 13 inch 2022 Macbook Air, which is already pretty slim, however I love the secrecy of where it’s located and how to access it. The extra storage compartments within the backpack are amazing too, I keep extra Canon A1 batteries, film, and my CF card reader in those compartments.Though I haven’t traveled with it just yet, I can already tell it will replace my regular backpack on more hiking centric trips. I can put both my film and digital cameras in the bottom compartment, and remove the top padding to put toiletries, clothes, and other electronic items in there. I think it would be too big to put under the seat on a plane, however it might on a bigger plane. If you’re American, I definitely recommend having TSA pre-check so you don’t have to unload this entire bag on the conveyer belt when in the security line, haha. The tripod slots on the side are incredibly smart. You can either put the legs into the cup holder itself, or there’s a little pouch that comes out of the waist belt that can also hold the tripod legs. There are three ways of strapping it in that way, one clip strap at the top, and two adjustible ones at the middle and bottom. If you configure it correctly, you could also fit a gimble, gorilla pod, and even a drone on the side of this backpack. This configuration is on both sides of the backpack too, which is great if you want a gimble and a tripod, or a tripod and a drone, or anything you can think of.I haven’t needed the extra waist bag, but it can hold an additional camera body plus a lens or two in it. It’s great if you need the space, but I think it’s a little bit extra for what I need the backpack for.Overall, this backpack is amazing quality and has amazing back support. I anticipate having no issues traveling with this, and it hold all of my equipment and then some. I highly recommend it for the photographer hobbyist, avid nature photographer, professionals, or anybody who just loves a good backpack (myself included). I didn’t know a hybrid hiking / camera bag existed, but now I can reserve my 15L hiking backpack, with no padding for my camera (which I would literally just throw in there with a hoodie around it as padding), as a camping bag and just use this, which will keep my camera protected from myself and the elements. This thing also comes with a rain cover to make it fully waterproof. If you are considering other bags as an option, don’t. You won’t find anything better than this.

Perfectly designed for 2 large Cameras + equipment
I have 2 cameras – Nikon D7500 w/18-300 zoom and Nikon Coolpix P1000. I have been searching long for a backpack that fits both, with cases and hoods, without having to disassemble the D7500. I also have 2 wide angle lenses (Nikkor) and associated filters, chargers, batteries, flash that need to be accomodated, as I usually travel with these.I bought and returned a few high-end backpacks (some with wheels), as despite their size and weight, they weren’t designed well enough to accomodate all my gear. When I bought this, I was hopeful. However, when I opened the pack, I was dismayed by the compactness of the backpack, thinking that it could never hold all my gear.I am so pleasurably surprised at this bag – not only does it hold everything I have, there’s room to spare. I am overwhelmed by the superb space planning that allows me to compartmentalize my two sets of cameras. The finishes are superlative and the backpack itself is a mere 1.5 kg. The dimensions on the listing (I bought the ‘large’, not the ‘extra-large’) is accurate.I am loving this backpack and this will be my go-to photography backpack for all my travel.Pros:1. Exceptional space planning – allows me to stow 2 cameras (D7500 w/18-300 lens, Coolpix P1000), 2 additional lenses, Nikon flash, 4 pouches of filters, extra batteries, 3 small hard-cases full of remotes, cables, external hard-drive etc. and some small stuff.2. Straps for carrying a tripod on the side (full-size or compact).3. Exceptionally well designed, high quality workmanship and material.4. Lightweight5. Budget price – most of the other backpacks that offer space for 2 cams are at least $200+ and not so well designed – they are bulky, weighty and end of the day, its a squeeze to fit in 2 cameras like mine.6. All in all – a perfect buy.Cons:1. The only con (and I am stretching here) is that it doesn’t have a strap at the bag to allow it to be stowed over a handluggage spinner. Its not a deal killer – I can use bungee cords to attach it.2. No wheels, alas. Wheels would have made it perfect. I am using a lightweight folding travel trolly that I bought from Amazon (see my other reviews) that does the job.Summary – Love this bag and highly recommend it.

I had a smaller backpack for my camera gear, and I thought this one was going to be a little bit better, but I’m very surprised and pleased with it. The adjustable dividers are quite thick and will clearly offer good protection for your lenses. There are a lot of smaller pockets inside for memory cards, batteries, etc. The extra pocket for a laptop or tablet is also well padded, and roomy. Zippers seem to run smoothly and easily, and it’s quite comfortable, even for a short 5’2″ woman like myself. I like the style of all black with bright orange zipper pulls. Good value for my money. Definitely recommend.

La mochila se siente de execelente calidad, tiene bastante espacio y los materiales son buenos. Voy a utilizarla en un viaje de mochilero por europa y veremos qué tal me va con ella.

Ok I’ve waited for 3 months of use before deciding to write a review as I wanted to use it in the field and ‘real life’ not just to add my thoughts as a review on opening it up as soon as I received it. So after three month and a lot of walking and use, I must say this fits the bill very well. I wanted a bag large enough to carry my Olympus m4/3rds camera with several lenses including the 40-100 Pro lens, all other accessories and my drone which I can fit in it’s original soft case in to the lower compartment with on occasions I have stuffed either side of it either spare jumpers, lightweight jackets, gloves, and even managed to get my filter case in with the drone also in this compartment, its really handy to be able to carry my drone in its case as I can split it easy enough then. The drone is a DJI mini 3 Pro but even better, the bag actually comes with another bag inside a bit larger the DJI bag, so you could use this for a drone or further camera equipment. My camera equipment I put in the top compartment and it has several soft velcro partitioners to segregate stuff as required, it also comes with a waterproof cover. Waist strap and chest straps are good and the emergency whistle on the chest straps helps get my deaf dogs attention. Side mesh pockets both sides, I usually carry a sit mat with a small tarp in one and the other I carry my tripod or bottle. Two great external pockets one being hard which I carry my phone is and the cargo net is great for stuffing coats or jumpers under once it gets a bit warm. Waist belt has two small pockets for keys etc. Overall this has plenty of storage and great features. If I don’t need my drone that bottom space is good for using as a normal rucksack and crammed full with equipment and clothes.I wanted a large bag with compartments for camera stuff and or drone, but find I just stuff my drone in, in the original case it came with into the bottom compartment, as its smaller than the one supplied I can still cram even more stuff in around it. If you’re after a large case at a great price, this is it. The ability to alter the sizing for individual back lengths is a great thought too, once on my back and loaded up, its comfy and stable and I have covered several miles now carrying this on my back.Another attention to detail, which I never thought about until I started using this pack is the hard plastic on its base so it stands up unsupported, so saves lying my pack down on mud/or wet grass as I have to do millions of times in the past!Three months down the line with a fair amount of use and two photography holidays later I am MORE than happy.
