Amazing zoom lens
Nikon did a wonderful job with this lens! No fancy buttons or screens but very nice and sharp glass! Getting a 2.8 zoom lens from Nikon at that price is amazing. I used that lens a lot and I love it! Image quality is superb and this lens is much lighter and smaller than the 24 70 2.8 .

Perfect 2.8
Im a Sony guy and also own Tamron 28-75mm f2.8.I’m switiching to Nikon these days and got this, a perfect replacement to Tamron 28 75mm. Pictures are sharp and has adequate light. Loving it so far.FYI, I also own 85mm S and a 24 120mm S. If you want a lens within this budget, I would choose 24 120mm S over 28 75mm. But this lens is for real 2.8 users and video makers. Perfect lens.

My mainstay lens
I do mostly portrait and cosplay photography, and it’s fantastic. I usually run f/4.5 just so I don’t encounter on-subject depth of field blurring, but I have no real complaints about the lens.The only complaint I do have is the cap: If the hood is on, getting the cap on correctly is a pain, because it’s not straight-forward to do it by feel. Maybe I just have sausages for fingers, but it’s not ideal.

Al principio todo bien con él lente pero ahora mi cámara simplemente no lo reconoce es como si no estuviera puesto y claro pensé que era la cámara pero si funciona con otros objetivos entonces intenté ponerme en contacto con el vendedor para aplicar la garantÃÂa de un año y simplemente no me ayudaron en nada y para enviarla con Nikon necesito primero la factura de garantÃÂa pero del vendedor no de Amazon asàque no compres esto

This is a Nikon re-brand of the Tamron 28-75mmIt is a light weight, great lens that won’t disappoint.Personally it’s weight and clarity have made this a consistent go to – for the most used lens in my bag.If you’re reading these reviews you’re probably debating between this, or an S series 24-70.I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with this lens!
