Great portable bluetooth speaker. Solid Bass/ Sound
This JBL Speaker is amazing. My family bought this for our hawaii trip and it provided us tunes for the entire week. It charges for about 4-6 hours and have a 2-3 hr play time. The sound is very crisp and solid. The bass hits hard and projects very impressively for such a tiny machine. I would recommend this product.

Compact, simple to use, and great sound. Odd bluetooth functionality
I’d not upgraded the bluetooth speaker in my office for 5 years or more. This one is a real improvement over the previous–a very good-sounding Bose unit, but the JBL is much easier to pair with my iMac and start listening. It’s smaller and better sounding. I find, however, that every time I go to listen, that the bluetooth connection will be faulty—not missing, but cutting in and out (breaking up) seriously, requiring me to go to my iMac’s bluetooth controls and switch bluetooth off, then on again. Once I’ve done that, all is well and the speaker works perfectly. I don’t know if the issue is with the computer or the speaker, but turning OFF bluetooth with a bluetooth Magic Mouse means that I have to pull out my old cable-connected mouse and plug it in so I can switch bluetooth back ON. Not exactly a convenient way to enjoy JBL sound while I work at the Mac.
