As a mom, I’m constantly washing my hands, running errands, and chasing after kids, which leaves my skin feeling dry and tired. I decided to try the eos Shea Better Body Lotion in Vanilla Cashmere, and I’m so happy I did!
The scent is absolutely amazing—warm, sweet, and cozy without being overpowering. It feels like a little treat every time I use it. The lotion itself is lightweight, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, which is perfect because I don’t have time to wait for my skin to dry when I’m busy.
After using it regularly, I noticed that my skin feels much softer and stays moisturized all day. Plus, it’s made with natural shea and is vegan, which is a big plus for me since I try to choose products that are good for both my family and the environment.
Overall, it’s a simple, affordable way to keep my skin feeling great, and it smells heavenly. Definitely a must-have for busy moms!

This is the best moisturizing lotion. My mother says this even has lightened her sun spots on her hands. I love the way it makes my skin feel so silky smooth. It cures the dry skin right away. All of the scents are my favorite. When I run out, I leave the bottle upside down for a day and refill my tiny hand lotion bottles. When repurchasing I pick a different scent. Love love love this lotion.

I bought this to pair with VS’ Bare Vanilla, and I’m happy to say that both products complement each other beautifully. However, I don’t understand the hype surrounding this lotion in particular.
As a lotion, it does its job very well. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. There’s no greasy or heavy feeling, as it absorbs quickly while still being hydrating. So, in terms of formula, I’m all for it!
However, at room temperature, this product has a pungent, yogurt-like scent. Fortunately, the smell fades after a few minutes, leaving a pleasant, subtle vanilla aroma. Still, it’s a bit odd. I discovered that you can eliminate the yogurt scent entirely by storing the bottle in the fridge, which is… peculiar, but I’ll take it!
After the yogurt scent disappears, the lotion smells like sweet cream with a touch of vanilla, resembling vanilla ice cream or cheap vanilla buttercream. I enjoy it! It’s a very subtle, youthful scent. (If you are looking for a mature vanilla, avoid this!)
On its own, I can only really smell it if i actively sniff my skin. Personally, I’m generally fine with this, (though I’m a little miffed because other reviews make it seem like the scent is out of this world.) Heavy fragrances in body care can sometimes do more harm than good, and this makes the lotion a great base for a gourmand fragrance. If you’re looking for a lotion with a stronger scent, I’d recommend Bath and Body Works or VS lotions/creams over this one.
I think I’ll combine this lotion with some aroma chemicals to enhance the vanilla scent. All in all, I’m satisfied! Just make sure this is the type of product you want before purchasing. If you’re after a subtle, youthful vanilla scent in a great lotion, this is for you.
UPDATE: OK, I’ve been wearing this lotion for some days now. I still think the formula is amazing, but by itself, this lotion’s fragrance is definitely “off.” Even without the yogurt smell, the lotion has this sweaty undertone that I (and others who I’ve asked to smell it on me) just cannot get behind. HOWEVER, this is a phenomenal cheap product for layering! It pairs very well with Viva la Juicy and my other gourmands, masking all the weird notes while promoting longevity and giving my fragrances a creamier, lactonic quality. Combining this lotion with sweet aroma chemicals/oils also fixed the weird note problem, and it now smells like vanilla buttercream. Curious.

I love this lotion! This is my second bottle. I would have given 5 stars but the pump did not work on this last bottle. Cons: ▪︎You cannot get all of the lotion out of the bottle without a lot of work. I had to bang the sides of the bottle on the counter so that the lotion would come out of the pump. Then to get the last bit, I took out the pump. There was enough for 5 more whole body applications after the pump quit working. ▪︎If you are sensitive to scents, this may not be the best lotion for you. I have sensitive, reactive skin abs this product doesn’t irritate my skin at all.
Pros: ☆ This is a super thick, luxurious lotion. It rivals my high end body lotions! ☆ The vanilla cashmere scent is amazing. It is cozy, but not too sweet or spicy nor is it cloying. ☆ The moisturization lasts for almost 24hrs. I apply it to damp skin after I shower so that it absorbs better and I find that it lasts close to a whole day and night.
Bottom line- amazing lotion, smells terrific, great price.

Let me just say this upfront: this lotion is *chef’s kiss*. every time I use this lotion, I get SO many compliments—especially on first dates. it’s like my secret weapon.
The scent of this lotion is unreal. It’s warm and sweet, like a mix of vanilla frosting and a fancy perfume. It’s not overpowering—it’s more of a subtle, cozy vibe that just makes people want to get closer.
I’ll put it on in the morning, and by the end of the day, I can still smell it on my skin. I’ve even skipped perfume because this lotion does all the work for me. It doesn’t feel greasy, but it still hydrates like crazy. My skin feels so smooth and soft, like I’ve been to a spa or something.
It’s especially perfect for the winter when my skin normally gets super dry. the bottle is huge, so it lasts forever even if you use it every day
This is my holy grail routine: Start by scrubbing your body with one of those rough Korean body scrubbers in the shower. After I dry myself, I put on Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Body Oil. Lastly I finish with this lotion to seal everything in.
