Excellent serum, great for my dry, sensitive skin & I use it in many different ways…
This is a lovely serum that works very well with my dry, sensitive skin. I have been using it for a couple of months, now and in addition to just using it as serum, I also followed several of the suggestions to mix it with a toner or hydrosol to use as a mist, and to mix it in with the Lotus facial oil from this brand that I also have. I like giving myself a little spritz with the mist whenever my skin starts to feel dry or rough. I will really enjoy using it this way next summer when I keep my mists in the fridge ready for a quick pick-me-up. My favorite way to use this serum is with the facial oil, though — I use it at night and my skin feels so soft and supple the next day. When used solo, it is fairly thick but it is not heavy. It goes on easily and it does take a few minutes to become completely absorbed into my skin. I usually add a moisturizing cream right away, so this is not much of an issue and I find that I can use this in the morning as well as at night. It feels very hydrating and it also seems to help my skin hold onto moisture longer. have experienced no irritation using this. I’m pleased to have found this very versatile serum and the price of $51.20 for a 50 mL bottle seems very reasonable. The serum arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed.

Interesting Product to add to your Skin Regimen
I’m giving this product 3.5 out of 5 stars.It took me a while to figure out how to incorporate this product into my skin regimen. I have acne prone, oily skin and I’m very careful about what moisturizers I put on my face. I followed the directions given on the bottle and after washing and toning my face I patted the serum onto my skin. The directions are very adamant that you do not rub the product in. I felt like the serum just sat on top my skin with minimal absorption and did not work well with my sunscreen. I actually went to the company, Bao Laboratories website to get additional information. You can also mix the serum with a face oil. I decided to use the serum only at night combined with my Sunday Riley Luna Oil. Much, much better result. My skin feels soft and supple. I like this serum but I’m not blown away. I will continue to use and update if I see more tangible positive results.

Not as moisturizing as I had hoped
I find this serum just okay. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling as plump or moisturized as other HA serums do. And I hate that the “before and after” photos on the product page are VERY clearly photoshopped.

Surprisingly thin fluid
For this serum to have so many different versions of HA acid in it I was expecting it to be a lot thicker in viscosity and it’s very thin almost watery. When you rub it in it foams up for a second almost like soap lather. There’s no scent to this product and it absorbs very quickly and leaves no residue behind like some HA serums do. It’s a pretty large bottle as well. Overall this is an okay product. I noticed a little bit of plumping in my skin but I felt I had to layer it a few times to get it to really hydrate my skin which is odd considering the actives in it.I’m not wowed by this serum upon first impression there’s nothing wrong with it. But I prefer my HA serums to be much thicker than this.Hopefully I notice some better improvement in my skin over time but so far it’s okay.

Yes, Please! – Excellent, Gentle, Healing, Restoring, Hydrating Serum with Panthenol & Ceramides
(Ingredients list is at the bottom of this review.)I am really enjoying using the BAO Laboratory ProB5HA Full Spec Quenching Serum (50ml). It’s really difficult to find an excellent hydrating pathenol and ceramide serum without a bunch of unnecessary, skin-irrirating ingredients in it. But now, I’m happy to say I’ve found it, and it’s quite nice.This serum has a cloudy appearance with a medium-viscous texture. It has no real scent. It glides onto the skin very smoothly, and soaks into the skin well. It doesn’t disappear into nothing though. It leaves a really nice, lightweight layer of lasting hydration on the surface of the skin. It layers perfectly with other toners, serums, emulsions, essences, and creams.The packaging is a very nice, 50ml, amber glass bottle with a very functional pipette dropper. I love the fact that you get 50ml, rather than the standard 30ml, because it makes the product more affordable and longer-lasting. I only use 4 or 5 drops to cover my entire face and neck, so I imagine this bottle may last a decent while.I have dry, sensitive skin, amd I love the fact that this formulation is fairly simple, and doesn’t include irritating, sensitizing active ingredients; Like niacinamide, exfoliants, vitamin C, retinol, etc. A healing, soothing, hydrating serum should be fairly simple so that it can do it’s job and not cause more issues, and that’s exactly what it does.Overall, I’m so happy to have found this serum. It’s very nice, and I will continue to use it often. Hydrating
This is a very hydrating serum that has a bit of smell to it that is just from the ingredients. It’s kind of a neutral smell, nothing really bad or good. The directions say to use 5 drops and to pat it into the skin. They make a big deal about not rubbing it in, which is interesting and just makes me wonder why rubbing is a problem. But when you pat it in, you do notice how thick the serum is. And it does feel more hydrating than most serums.This seems like a really clean product (no added sulfates, parabens, colors or perfumes) that does a good job of delivering what it advertises.
