My dogs are so darn picky! I can’t get them to eat much of anything. But these chews are the only thing I don’t have to fight with them to take. They eat it like it’s a treat. This formula is not totally effective, but it has reduced my dog licking his paws by at least 85-90% over a month’s time. It also contains a key vet-recommended (my vet) probiotic, which is why we chose to try it. It has worked even better over time. We tried other brands and they do not compare.The only reasons I gave it a “four” is that many people don’t place as much value the 5’s and 1’s reviews (avoiding the extremes), placing more value on the 2, 3, 4 rated reviews (from my experience), and the product is not “perfect.”Again, a very effective product for my dog, and I will continue to purchase it… because it works! And my food-fussy 15 year old retriever likes them. Can’t beat that combination.Of course, there’s no guarantee it will work for your dog, but it has definitely worked for mine.

Did not work for my dogs
I thought I would this product a try for my dogs allergies. When I bought it the first time, my dogs liked eating them like treats, but they continue to itch and lick their paws. I purchase another tub to really see if this product will work for my dogs, but it didn’t they are still itching and licking their paws. I did notice the second tub the color was more brown than the first tub was white. I don’t know if this is a bad batch, but my dogs were not eating it either. I am really disappointed since I had hopes it would help my dogs with their allergies and it didn’t.Update: Although this product did not work for my dogs, this does not mean it won’t work for your pets. The company reached out to me to make things better for my dogs for this I am giving an extra star and update for the Exceptional Customer service to make customers and their pets a top priority.

Didn’t work with a single issue it was supposed to help.
This product advertised and promised quite a few things. No one wants their beloved dog to suffer with scratching, licking their paws incessantly, or chew themselves raw. They tell you it’s yeast in their gut. OK, looked at many of the items sold for these issues and decided to try this one. My pup liked the taste, but it didn’t like her stomach. She thew it up. Gave it to her with food and that helped sometimes, not always. I keep her on it for a month regardless, to actually see if it would help (company suggests giving it a few weeks.) Well, sadly not a single issue was helped. She got sick occasionally, had diarrhea often and still itched, licked and chewed herself. That’s our experience and our review. After trying this, the Vet suggested Apoquel (a prescription.) After 3 days I noticed a tremendous difference. It actually does work. If your furbaby has these problems talk to your Vet before wasting time, money and possibly your pet getting sick. These products are all over from many reputable companies maybe they’ll help your pet. This is just our experience.

Give it at least 2wks and be consistent
This little guy has gut/skin sensitivity. I’m doing all the right things with food and skin care but he needed a little extra TLC. Came across these a while back and tried them for a week. Noticed zero changes so I left them on the shelf for a while. Then over the last month I started using them as treats. Couldn’t hurt right? They actually helped. Gave him 3 to 4 pellets a day and after the second week I noticed a tremendous improvement in his paw licking and ear redness.The jar contains an air tight foil bag to keep the pellets fresh and this little guy loves the crunch.

It works
Have tried many things for my 100 lb baby. He constantly licks his wrists and has a frequent rumbling, gurgling stomach. Changed his food–it helped a bit. Tried different meds–they worked a bit. Tried this, and after two weeks no gurgles, no licking, he’s sleeping better and his feces are formed with no soft, liquid piles. (Graphic, I know, but, wow!) Hope this continues. We’ve started our younger, little dogs on it for the probiotic benefits. No health issues with them, but doing it preventatively for the healthy probiotics.

Didn’t notice a difference
Wanted to try these so it would seem like the dogs were getting a treat and have the added bonus of helping with the scratching. No fleas and there was no difference in the amount of scratching actually got worse because we stopped the antihistamines. We gave it 2 weeks and then switched them back to over-the-counter antihistamines. itching stopped within 48 hours. Lesson learned…stick with what you know works.
