I reviewed the original Dogtolgy and loved it. Didn’t think it could be topped. Well, I was wrong. The latest edition is even better. The cover is wonderful, the quality of the paper and presentation outstanding. The addition of photographs puts it over the top. A great companion to Catakism. Most importantly is that the hilarity and pure enjoyment of the read is still there. Congradulations on this latest edition. If my brilliant poodle could read I know he would love it. Not sure about Catakism though. Congratulations to the author for sharing his love of animals and his sense of humor with the reading public.

Spot on (pardon the pun) and humorous depiction of life with dogs!
I love this book! It is a wonderful, fun and funny representation of how our world revolves around them, especially now during COVID stay-at-home times. We are now on our fourth generation of pups who have rescued us and can completely relate! This is a must purchase book for all dog lovers and their friends (non-furry, human) alike!

It’s a dog thing… so non-believers might not understand
I have been a practicing dogtologist for over 25 years. So when I saw this book pop up on social media, I had to read it.It is funny and spot on when it comes to the ways that us believers in Dog run our lives around canine critters. If you’re a Dog non-believer, you might not get the humor or understand the truly bizarre things we do. But that might because you’re a catologist (and Jeff has another book just for you of the Cat faith).Found myself snickering and smiling throughout the book. Loved it!

A funny read that many can relate to.
This is an extremely witty book that many can relate to. It’s so true, all the clothes we buy for our fur babies and for every seasonal event. Chapter 5, Book of Hydrants was especially my favorite lol and so true about bathroom rituals. It’s a must read!

Where to begin! Jeff Lazarus obviously has a brilliant understanding of the canine world and it’s inhabitants right across the board.With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Lazarus relates in an LOL way how Dogtology is a belief that recognizes Dog as a genuinely “elevated” being and there are these Dogtologists who aren’t just fond of dogs – they laud them and plan their days/nights around the needs and wants of Dog.I just loved it and would suggest if you need a good laugh and some down time this is the lighthearted book for you.
