Too course for a seed starter
There are white granule of some sort of mineral which are very large – many times larger than tomato or pepper seeds. This makes it near impossible to ensure adequate seed coverage without obstructing the sprouting.Would be fine with larger seeds such as beans.I also had a lot of algae growth very quickly which I haven’t experienced with other starters, though that might be the environment here.
