Versatile scratcher
I’ve had this scratcher for a few months now and my cats still use it and love it. I bought it because I have a cat that likes scratching horizontal surfaces, another cat that likes scratching vertical surfaces, and a new kitten (pictured) that likes both. This product covered all the bases and pretty much saved my couch from being torn.It was also really easy to assemble by myself as it came with all the instructions, parts and tools needed. The cats use it almost instinctively, the only detail is that it’s very light so you have to put it on carpet or against a wall, so it doesn’t slide around when the cat uses it. 100% recommend for cats and kittens!

Great product! Both cats love it!!
Both of my cats love this scratcher! There are several ways you can set it on the floor. Because one of my cats often likes to stretch when she scratches, I have it set in the “L” position. Much to my dismay this same cat likes to use one of my chairs with a similar tight but slightly rough fabric. When I bought the first scratcher, she immediately stopped scratching the chair and only used the scratcher! I bought the first one in November 2023, and it lasted a year. When they decimated it in the “L” position, I turned it over to a bridge position and it lasted several more months. About a month ago my cat went back to scratching the chair. Since the scratcher was pretty much decimated on both sides, I bought a new one. As soon as I set it up, she stopped scratching the chair and again only uses the scratcher. I love this product!!! The frame is solid, well-built and easy to assemble. The corrugated boards are thick and tight which is why it lasted so long. The only downside is that the corrugated boards cannot be purchased separately. The frame is so sturdy and well-built, it could last for years if just the boards could be replaced.

The ultimate kitty scratch post
This is the best scratch post for my cat. Literally the only one she will use. Very compact and easily fitz snug against wall. It is also very easy to assemble. I have re purchased this American gem thrice in a years time

My cat loves it – BUT no refills and it makes a big mess
With the wooden sturdy frame, and easy put together frame, thought of course it’s a no brainer to have replacement cardboard – less waste, right? No replacements, so after your kitty anhilates the cardboard in their favorite place there’s no replacement. Also, because its cardboard it will shred, and shred with little cardboard strips everywhere. I’m constantly after it. However, 4 stars because my kitty does love the long part (he’s not interested in the short part). I will try to find a more ecologically friendly solution and sisal rope or something more duraable so its not as messy.

Should have purchased sooner
This would have saved allot of furniture. I have had several scratching posts. However this one was the one that stopped the kitty from scratching anything else. She loves it so much she will even nap on it.

My cats love it
Cats and cardboard in any form are a perfect combination and this scratcher is a win in my home. I have more cats than I want to say and they all love it – it is constantly contested territory as both a lounger and a scratching post. I’ve had it a couple of months and it is holding up very well to constant use. It went together easily and looks nice in my living room. They did manage to get the ball out and lose it the first day, though it reappears from time to time as a coveted toy, so that’s okay. I wish I had room in my little house for each cat to have one, but I don’t, so they are sharing. I wish all products marketed for cats was this successful and this nice. I, and my feline hoard, all give it a vigorous thumbs up!

Doesn’t last long
I thought this was a good cat scratcher however a couple of things to note – 1. I have 2 cats. This lasted three months before my kitties totally destroyed it! They scratched completely through it! 2. It is made out of cardboard or paper or something that the cats easily shredded and it made a HUGE mess in the house. It was difficult to vacuum up- it was in larger pieces. And the cats somehow spread the shreds all over the house. A real pain!!! If you’re looking for a very temporarily solution for cat scratching, this works otherwise I would suggest something else!

Have had this thing for a cool minute! Made from polished particle board, and cardboard. Came with connectors, bellball, and catnip. Easy to put together, and safe for all. Have had ones that leave a larger mess, so this is good! This poor thing has been peed on, chewed up by a puppy, ralphed on, kicked around, and slammed into the wall. But even after all that, it’s still just as good as ever! It’s not even wobbly!!! Absolutely GREAT buy!!!
