Must have cat toy!
With a small army of cats (rescues and foster fails,) I need laser pointers in my house, and I need several of them! I actually have 3 that are exactly the same now. I keep them in different rooms of the house, so that I always have one within reach.The old, battery operated, push button, laser pointers, from the olden days, are trash. The batteries never lasted very long, and if you played with it long enough your hand would start to hurt from holding the button down for so long.Well gone are those days!No batteries to change. They’re rechargeable via USB. You can charge them from a computer, a phone charger plug, anything with a usb port.They charge quickly and hold a charge forever too. I’ve never had one die on me, even when I’m neglectful to charge it.You can spin the dial and select different shapes for the laser pointer. Different cats prefer different shapes. Test them all out and see which one your cat prefers.You slide the button to turn on the laser pointer, the flashlight, or the “black light.” No holding down any buttons, making your hand sore.Now my only criticism isn’t with this particular product, but with ALL of these products claiming to have a “urine detecting black light.”Most ‘black lights’ that you’ll find on Amazon and in stores, don’t actually work for detecting cat/dog urine or bodily fluids as advertised.True UV lights for this purpose need to emit at 365 nm, but the ones likely use 395 nm or higher, which isn’t effective.They also don’t produce enough UV intensity, and the visible purple light can wash out any fluorescence. So if you need a real UV flashlight for stain detection, this won’t cut it.I’m not going to knock any stars off for that because again, that’s almost all “black lights” you’ll find, and not something specific to this product.

pretty nice multi mode laser pointer.
Overall these are pretty good laser projectors.The housing for it feels pretty nice, and the slider to activate the various modes is nice so you do not need to depress the button, which always wears it down and causes these things do die prematurely.The laser diode has a wheel that you can adjust the emitted pattern for what is projected. which is fine I suppose but I only see myself using the dot mode. It also has a flashlight mode and a pale blue light variations.It is rechargeable so no mucking around with batteries, specially since most of these inexpensive laser pointers use button cells and those can be difficult to find at times.My cats do enjoy this laser pointer, when I brought it out their play instincts kicked in and they started to hunt the laser point. which as any cat owner can tell you is always a fun time with toys.I have at this point no real issues with this laser pointer. it is a quality product that you should pick up yourself.

I struggle to find many toys that my cat likes to play with, so it can be a challenge to help him expel all his energy, but he loves these light wands. I have had him running throughout the house for hours chasing that elusive red dot that he can never seem to catch. This comes with two of the lightsIt has a few different light settings. There is a white light, purple light, and red light. It has a turn dial that will display different patterns of the red light. Honestly, I just wanted it for the standard red dot, but it might come in handy as a small flash light if necessary. The light gets a good distance, so I can be standing on the other side of the room watching my cat go crazyI like that they use rechargeable batteries, so I don’t have to worry about buying batteries. If you have cats this is a great way to get them up running around

Multifunctional pen lights
These pen lights are awesome! My cats and I are enjoying the cats running after the red light. You can turn the red light into different shapes. This has an arm band to put around your wrist. It is rechargeable. You take off the top and the piece that you use to charge is there. There weren’t any instructions to show how you take the top off. I looked up similar pen lights and figured out how to take the top off. This doesn’t come with a usb cable. This is a black light, a flashlight and a red light for playing with your pets and pointing at things. I like that this is rechargeable. Saves on having to buy batteries. I would definitely recommend these pen lights. You get two in the package. This will make a great gift for pet owners.

I bought this set to replace my previous laser pointer to play with my cats. I like that these are rechargeable, and the additional flash light and black light settings are a nice addition (interesting to see what items I already own that are black light reactive). Would recommend for anyone who likes to use a laser with cats and is tired of having to replace batteries.
