Sturdy woven plastic
I bought this to put under gravel in the garden. It is sturdy and easy to use. My Vego Garden beds will go on top. The gravel is easy to level. Weeds will grow on top of the gravel even with weed cloth underneath but those are easy to pull. I would not use it around plants. The earth around plants needs to breathe. But we use many gravel paths on our property and gravel pads under picnic tables and things like that. This will allow water to drink and discourage weeds from rooting deeply.

Covers a lot of ground, no stakes included
The 100 foot roll covered two large garden beds. The package did NOT include stakes as advertised, so we had to buy them separately after the fact. False advertising. The fabric itself seems sturdy and was easy to work with.

Very heavy duty
It’s woven plastic fabric and the ends do come undone a very little but nothing to worry about. This will definitely block weed growth but it will also block watter pass through from the surface. But for my use that wasn’t an issue. I would actually consider this more like a small black tarp. The pins that come with it are very heavy duty but you only get 20. The average you always seem to need is 25. Excellent value for the price. Best price and value on Amazon.

Sooo I bought this without consulting with my husband. I wanted a section of our backyard redone. My husband let’s just say wasn’t very motivated. So I thought if I stared purchasing the items we needed maybe he would get motivated. Even if the only motivation was because he was scared of the things I was buying were incorrect. So I purchased this and to say the least he was very impressed!! I got my backyard section completed! The only thing I would change is needing more of the stakes because our backyard where we used it is not flat. It has humps and and a beautiful tree stump to go around. So extra hooks were needed. This stuff was amazing!
