This is my 2nd purchase of these great lights from this seller. My first purchase went flawlessly, meaning after hanging the lights and charging they worked just fine and are still working.However, after I received my 2nd order unfortunately, I got sick and could not put the lights up until after the 30 day returning mark.After putting up both strands, and several day’s of trying to get the lights to work, I had no luck. So I contacted the seller via message telling them my situation. They sent back something for me to try which I had never heard of before.The off/on button is not like a toggle switch so you’ll know when the unit is on rather you simply push the off/on button and hear a click.So the solar panel will not charge unless it is in the “On” position. So they instructed me to allow them to:Charge in the sun for a couple of hoursThen take a towel or something to cover up the solar panel with (simulating dark) to check if the lights are working or notIf they are then you know the off/on switch is in the proper positionIf not, then click the off/on button again, rinse and repeatAfter following their instructions, both of my strands of lights still did not work, so they sent me a replacement within 2 daysGreat customer service, I highly recommend buying from this seller!

Need strong sun light
I got these for an outside tree for Christmas. I thought the solar power was a great feature so I wouldn’t have to run electricity to the end of the drive. I live in the mountains, so the solar panels don’t get enough sun light. We also have a number of cloudy days in the winter so the solar panels don’t get a full charge.On strong sunny days I do get enough of a charge to run the lights well into the night.I supplemented these with a string that was battery operated and my tree looked pretty good.I think these would be great if I had a sunnier spot.Next year I am thinking about putting them on a tree more in the meadow.

The BEST solar string lights. Work wonderfully as colored Christmas lights or daily white lights
Came back to update my review. These are the best solar string lights I’ve used yet. They were wonderful over Christmas, giving us beautiful, twinkling colored lights throughout most of the evening. Now, I’ve switched back to the steady white, and didn’t have to change out anything. Highly recommend!!I WISH this company would make these same lights with white wiring, rather than green, so that I could use them on our archway.____ Previous reviewSo far I’m loving these lights. I have 2 fir trees out in front of our house, and I’ve always kept white solar lights on them throughout the year. Then, at Christmas, I have to string colored lights as well, which is a pain, especially when taking them down, as they get tangled in with my white lights.I’ve had really good luck with the white solar lights, as they last a long time, but the solar colored lights just don’t last long enough and are too dim. I’ve ended up having to use electric lights, which is a pain.Decided to give these a try, and I’ve been impressed with the white lights, which are bright and last for a good while. Now, however, comes the true test, as I will be switching to colored / twinkling lights for Christmas… so we’ll see if they continue to perform.I’ll update my rating and review as more is revealed.

Good Value. Last All Night
Put these up on my rear fence in November 2024 and as of March 2025 still performing like new. After even a halfway sunny day, these lights stay on all night for me, and are typically still on in the morning when I wake up before sunrise. Have to be close to the solar panel for the remote to work, but that’s not a problem for me.

Great lights but not around Christmas…
These are beautiful and on most sunny or partly sunny days last well into the night. My one complaint is they worked the least well near Christmas. The “darkest time of year” on days with any clouds they would die out before 10 PM. I’d buy them again but not specifically as Christmas lights.

I didn’t know what to expect from a set of solar lights so I was pleasantly surprised when the lit up (nice colour) and lasted for quite a few hours. Very satisfied cause I don’t have any wires to plug in anywhere.
