I bought this soil for planting succulents, and it worked great! The soil wasn’t overly wet when I received it, which made it easy to use right away. I planted a large tray of propagation plants and two potted succulents. The soil controls moisture well and dries at a good rate for succulents. It smelled fresh and had small to medium particles, with a few tiny sticks and bark pieces. The plants set roots easily and experienced very little transplant shock. The potting soil does have bark in it, but a very small amount. I wanted potting soil without bark because gnats love it. Otherwise the soil looks pretty good. I had gotten some bad soil from a nursery and had to repot all my plants, so i got this.Time will tell if the potting soil is good, I just repotted them a day ago. There was no mold, bad smell or infestation in the soil. So far I’m pretty happy

This is a really good draining soil. It doesn’t smell didn’t come with any bugs which is a PLUS! The bag wasn’t as well as I thought it would be but that’s also with any product that you buy now in days.
