Thereâs a lot to like about this controller & not much to complain about.I got the slate blue colorway & itâs a nice, gray-ish blue color. The control sticks & shoulder buttons offer a nice, contrasting purple color (hence the name of the color, blueberry).This features hall effect sticks + triggers, vibration, turbo & additional buttons near the R1/2+L1/2 triggers that make it easy to program. There is no rgb anywhere on this controller (not a con!).Youâll get a USB C cable & USB adapter – so you can use this gamepad in wired mode, bluetooth or with the USB adapter. A physical switch behind the controller makes it easy to switch between wireless USB & bluetooth.I have larger hands & not only is this controller comfortable to hold, but the programmable buttons up top are easy to access as well.Programming those additional buttons & turbo function is easy. Itâs all done through the controller – no 3rd party software required.I even tested out both the additional buttons & turbo simultaneously. Essentially, I assigned a face button ( X, in this instance) to a shoulder button (R4), and then set up R4 to turbo⦠so you can press the X button for a single press, or press R4 for X+Turbo. It was pretty easy!Just keep those instructions handy.Best of all? The price! Youâd be hard pressed to find a gamepad with these features (turbo/macro/hall effect sticks & triggers) from a brand name controller maker.Sure, thereâs plenty of alphabet soup brand companies here hocking their controllers but⦠at this price point, this is a no brainer.I highly recommend this gamepad for anyone who games on the PC or mobile. It doesnât seem to support the switch or xbox but⦠youâd know that if you read the description, right? :)Overall, hard to find a better controller. Keep up the great work!5/5

My second favorite controller, incredible value, PC/Android only
This is not the first 8bitdo Ultimate 2c I own but I was extremely happy to be able to pick up another one that’s wireless. This controller uses a dedicated 2.4 dongle or Bluetooth for connectivity.This is simply put one of the best controllers your can buy for the money and absolutely beats everything else in its price range.the extra shoulder buttons are near perfect, the dpad is slightly stiff but gives good feedback and hits diagonals with ease. The triggers are slightly on the short side and a longer pull would be nice but cost is the no.1 concern with this controller. The face buttons are very stable and have a satisfying membrane activation. The thumbsticks have good tension but feel slightly “light” and somewhat cheap under my thumbs but they’ve implemented the antifriction materials well with only the slightest of roughness being felt on the right stick when pushed and rubbed full left.This gamepad is excellent.I do wish that the grips stuck out a little more/were less vertical but they’re still quite comfortable.The only things that could make this controller better would be to add 2 more buttons onto the back of the remote and make it compatible with consoles. Other than this, i see the 8bitdo Ultimate 2c as a perfect controller for the listed price. What a great gamepad at an excellent price point.

I was using an old generic Xbox controller on my pc for flight sim 2024, I found that it was hard to fly smoothly due to the poor response from the analogue sticks. I saw these being reviewed on YouTube and they looked really good value. It took a few days to be delivered but it was well worth it. Very good build quality and premium feeling materials, there is one slight rough join but it’s not where your hands are placed on the controller, so can live with that. It connects instantly without any software via WiFi and works seamlessly. The flight experience is now transformed, the hall effect sticks are really smooth and accurate so I can fly without over correcting, I’ve also used it for Elite Dangerous and it’s massively improved the flight experience. It looks great too! Really happy with this and would highly recommend. I expect it would be great for racing games as well due the accurate analogue triggers.
