Despite it being in a container that makes application waaaaaaaay way easier than other products that do the same, it’s a balm that can be a little messy if your dog has a lot of fur around their paws. The little hairs will stick to the balm and the applicator, so you may waste a little bit of product here and there always wiping it off to keep it clean.However, it definitely gives results.We live in a very rural area, so my dog will go out often during the day to play and lay in the sunshine. Walking over our concrete pad and gravels, his paws will do what any animal’s paws will do: they toughen. Especially during the winter months, they will be pretty dry.I put the product on his paws at night prior to us going to bed since he’ll usually sleep through the night, as well. That best time to put it on them when you know they’ll sleep or be off their paws for a while because this stuff WILL transfer to your flooring when they walk around if they’re indoors.His paws were pretty dry and rough from playing a lot this past winter, but with one application alone I saw an improvement with the texture. They felt much more moisturized and wasn’t as hard. I’ve been able to put a few more applications on him since receiving it, and in under a week, his paws definitely feel much more soft — he can finally grip the flooring now when he walks instead of sliding everywhere from how dry they were (they weren’t cracking though, which the product on the box says to not use them on their paws are).It doesn’t have any odor and you get a good amount in the tube (which is a decent size that should last a long time since you don’t need to apply much). Buy it! It really works. I have 3 frenchies, 2 of them suffer from really dry nose. I’ve tried tons of different balms but the scents are horrible and strong. My dogs can’t stand the scent on them so I’m unable to use them. People always recommend natural dog company but their nose balm scent is STRONG! This balm is actually natural ingredients and has a very light coconut scent. I rubbed it twice a day on my dogs noses and within 4 days it was already healed. Now I’m only using it once a week for maintenance. It’s also very affordable. I recommend to all fur parents out there.

Great product. Arizona rockss are hard on my dog’s paws. In the hot weather he wears boots but not necessary this time of year . The all year round dryness is gone , no more rough, cracked hardness and no more licking them after our walks .

This works great for my dog who doesn’t like his paws being touched. He tolerates it well and I apply it when he laying on/by the couch. I bought the twist-up and it’s so easy to use. I like that is ok if he licks his paws. I have noticed improvements since using it. Also – he was starting to have a small dry patch on his nose and this has kept it at bay!

Extremely hard and solid. It’s super hard to get out. I expected this to melt so it’s easy to apply to balm. However it’s still solid once applies. There’s a subtle soft smell to it and not too overwhelming. I did not see any positive improvement to the softness of paw pads unfortunately.
