Wow, this jar is much larger than I thought. As a Prime Day special, it was a great value.The product itself is very creamy and light. Hate stuff that makes me oily and shiny. My wife raves about soothing acids and ceramides as cosmetics. I did some research. These products are usually found in her $80 products. Hope they work on my face too.I have used other moisturizers to combat dry skin. So far, great for the face, (at least better than the thicker DOVE for Men). I am doing a comparison test, by applying the cream to only 1 arm to see if makes a difference.I am very happy with this Amazon brand product. However, It may take some time to tell if it will make me look 20 years younger.🤗

This is great moisturizer!
This moisturizer is very nice. I appreciate how easy it goes on yet my skin feels protected.I was using the “oil free facial lotion” but it disappeared into my skin and it never seemed to help.This moisturizing cream is much better. I feel more protected. It’s not greasy and it is scent free. My face feels much better. It can get pretty cold here and I need something that protects my face and this is it.It’s not too heavy or thick and I have been using it on my hands and I definitely noticed a difference.

It is ok but does not have the texture or effectiveness of CeraVe. I switched back to the name brand. Big difference.

Not as nice as CeraVe
Tried this out as a lower-cost substitute for my dermatologist-recommended CeraVe. It does the job and moisturizes my skin. It seems to include the same basic ingredients that work on dry skin. However, the formulation is a bit different, and the Amazon Basics cream is thinner in consistency and feels much less creamy and luxurious. Are the few extra bucks worth the better feel of CeraVe on the skin? I think that’s a personal decision. I don’t have any problem using Amazon Basics for many everyday items, from batteries to ibuprofen, but in this case, I’m going back to CeraVe after this jar is finished. The difference in quality / feel is just too apparent. Your mileage may vary.
