Worked Great (My first time wet cleaning a sensor)
This was my first try at wet cleaning my sensor. I resorted to this after having some success with the blower, sensor brush and Ricoh sensor cleaning stick. I followed the directions and it came clean at my first attempt. One note: My cleaning solution was labeled as ‘sensor cleaning liquid’, and not ‘lens cleaning liquid’ as other people noted. I guess this is a newer package.

How well they worked
Sensor dust is awful than you have to remove in postThis kit made cleaning easy and streak freeFollow the directions take your time to a dust/dirt free sensorI’d purchase this again

good value
There may come a day when you notice dust on your sensor. Don’t panic, as cleaning it properly is easily done with the right tools. Like cleaning a lens, you need to be careful and not use anything abrasive. This product contains individually wrapped “swabs” that should only be used once. Note: Clean the sensor in a dust free environment with good lighting so you can see what you are doing. Before using the swab, use a rocket blower (not compressed air) to exhaust any loose dust inside the sensor cavity and off the sensor. Sometimes this is all that is needed. If dust remains, proceed with using the swab and cleaning fluid.Apply a liberal amount of the supplied cleaning fluid onto the swab and lightly wipe across the sensor in one move. Hopefully the width of the swab will cover your sensor. If not, flip the swab over and swipe with the unused side. The sensor is more delicate than a lens, as it may not have a protective coating. Be gentle and don’t use excessive force, scrubbing action or excess fluid. Chances are, any dust that is found on the sensor can either be blown off, or removed with a light swipe of the swab.Test your results by putting your lens out of focus and taking a photo of a neutral, solid object (like a piece of paper). This will reveal any dust if you have any residual dust, or hopefully a clean and clear sensor. The product works as expected. I just wish there was a carry pouch so I could pack it with my camera for travel (the box is bulky), and a bit more fluid.

These swabs make sensor cleaning easy and safe.
I found that using these sensor cleaning sticks to clean my Canon 70D sensor was a lot less stressful than my previous technique of using a piece of lens cleaning pad folded over the end of a plastic paddle. While some may consider these to be somewhat expensive, cleaning your sensor is probably not something you should need to do very often and anything that makes the process go smoothly is worth the price. It’s important to make sure that a DSLR has a charged battery to prevent the mirror from attempting to close during lockup while you are in the middle of the cleaning procedure. And before using the swabs to do any wiping the sensor should be vigorously blown off with a rubber bulb blower. It will also help to have very good lighting on the face of the sensor before proceeding. The instructions say that you should apply 1-2 drops of fluid to the swab. Waiting a few seconds will allow the entire edge of the swab to become wet. Then gently drag the swab from one edge to the other (I always use left to right) and in doing so you should see that the sensor face is wetted but then dries almost immediately as you drag the swab. After this first pass I do deviate from the instructions a little however. Instead of making a reverse pass over the sensor I flip the swab and make another left to right pass (or the same direction as the first pass). This way any dust that is pulled off the surface either comes off with the swab or worst case stays on the right edge of the sensor.Cleanliness of the sensor can be confirmed by taking the normal diffused light frames to look for dark spots, and repeating the procedure if necessary. To maximize the use out of a pad I sometimes take the opportunity to use it over again to clean any filters (a much less critical use) before disposing of the swab. I have used this on expensive 2″ narrowband astronomical filters by re-wetting any unused edge of the swab and wiping the filter in a circular spiral starting at the center and working outward. These are not at all expensive considering that the proper pads and fluids for cleaning by other methods add up in price as well. These swabs make the job easy and safe. Recommended with 5 stars.

Easy to use – trusty camera accessory maker – K&F Concept – read on for useful hint below
I have many camera accessories from K&F Concept for my 24.3m megapixel APS-C sized sensor and DX-format CMOS sensor cameras. They are made with the same quality as all the high end German brands. As I used my cameras often for beach vacations, there is a need to keep my sensors clean. I would normally shoot a picture against a beige background and screen the image for dust spots that landed on the sensor. This APS-C Sensor kit is very easy to use. The only accessory outside of the kit is a good dust blower like my Rocket blower. The instructions are printed on the box. If you feel uncomfortable, just view a few YouTube videos and you will get the hang of it.I have been cleaning my sensors annually and feel at home holding onto the swabs. The cleaner bottle drips directly onto the swab. The width of the swap is the same as my sensor and there is no need to create two swipes in each direction going in wet. After the second dry pass, I can see all the cleaning solution dry up. Place the lens back on and take another picture and compare for dust spots. In my situation, 99% spotless achieved. Now another hint: Before throwing out the used swab into the garbage bin, I use it clean the edges of my computer monitor screen and laptop screen. The swab’s edges are hard enough to penetrate and pick up neglected dust that a cleaning cloth cannot reach. (See my last photo)Another great product from K&F Concept! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆

I think there was something wrong with the cleaning solution as it left my sensor smeared after using 2-3 swabs and the correct process to clean it. It did clean the dust spots, but the sensor look like it had this hazy film, almost like hard water stains on the bathroom mirror. Didn’t seem to affect much the quality of the photos, but it didn’t look cleaner after using. Returned rhe product, bought another brand VSGO and now the sensor looks crystal clear, no streaks, smearing or dust spots.

I was worried about my first sensor clean. I chose to start with a very old DSLR, the Nikon D100. I bought it second hand for a very low price, but with small apertures I could see several spots due to dirt that had accumulated on the CCD sensor. There was little to lose and a lot to gain. It took me four double-tipped swabs before I got it acceptably clean, but it was really quite easy. Just follow the instructions precisely.
