Lens hood works but is NOT designed to take a cap
The hood works and does the job, it also will offer some protection against bumps. I took off a couple of stars as the advertising led me to believe this was a set (hood and cap). The hood is not designed to accept a cap and has to be removed if you want to cap the lens. In a busy situation this is not a good use of time. Chances are I would have still bought the item had they said that the hood does not take a cap – everyone needs a spare lens cap.The added cloth is welcome as you almost always need another if you shoot outdoors.

Perfect. Bought this for my Mitakon 35mm f0.95 and it works perfect even stacked on top of two filters.Handy that it comes with a lens cap that pops on to the front of the hood too. ðð»
