I really like this cute small mood lighting unit. I have a larger one to illuminate my room more brightly, but this one is perfect for a dimmer atmosphere: great when watching movies (I hate bright lights on when I’m watching a movie) and especially before bedtime. The head (projection unit is in the head) rotates to provide a spotlight effect that is very large and powerful for such a small figure; turned totally upward, I can light most of the ceiling of my mid-sized room. The head is held to the figure by a magnet and cord on the model I ordered. I got the seated figure with a guitar (reminded me of the song “Space Oddity”) and he fits basically anywhere. Given the bright projection, it is advisable to put the figure somewhere out of your normal line of sight, since in an otherwise dark environment the light can be very strong if you glance at it head-on; all projectors of this type are the same in this issue and this one’s small size makes it much easier to place than larger ones. The remote control is easy to learn and use, I haven’t had any problems controlling the unit or choosing the varied lighting effects and modes. I connected him to my USB outlet with no issue. Great variety of lighting effects and colors. Very happy with this purchase!
