dead duck
I liked it. But the dog used it as a chew toy and had it dismantlement and rendered useless in about 2 days.. So if you use it as a training device, then it works great. But if you just let your dog have it for a chew toy, it wont last at all.

Dog loves it
My dogs absolutely love these. Very tough and hasn’t come apart after 100’s of throws in the pool and on land. I’ve bought multiple and they definitely have a preference for the different shapes/colors.

Great toy for water and field
I got this to train my new 4 mo old lab mix to start working ducks. She loves this toy and is relentless in her pursuit of it. The body is tough the line is durable even after 4 months of hard use day in and day out. Great product

Rope frayed quickly
Our water dog loved this toy but the rope frayed and broke within a week of lake play. This caused the head to fall off :(. Cute and otherwise a lot of fun.

Quality training aid
I bought this for my vizsla pup at 10 weeks as a training aid (and knew it would be about his size). FYI, these tend to be heavier to simulate the weight of a bird. The bird looked exactly as pictured, and seems pretty rugged. These arent chew toys – they are meant to be carried.

My Golden loves this Sporting Toy
Easy to throw and great for the water or playing fetch. My dog loves his mallard! Third time purchased – everyone at the dog beach is always inquiring on this toy.

The rope WILL get chewed in half
I’ve now purchased this item twice and have the exact same experience both times. The rope, holding everything together was chewed in half making the item worthless, in a matter of minutes. The first instance I thought it was my fault because I should be more aware of the duck and not let it happen. The second time, I thought the same thing, but quickly realized this is a huge flaw in the product. The rope is thin, non-durable, and has zero protective covering. Considering its only use is to be in the mouth of a dog, it makes the entire product worthless.I deeply regret spending my money on this and hope everyone can heed this warning! BTW, Avery does not answer messages asking for a refund.@Avery I demand a refund for this product and will not stop spreading this message until I get my money back!

Lo use para entrenar a mis tres Labrador Retriever en el deporte de cobro.
Ich bilde meinen jetzt 14 monatigen Zwerg-Rauhaardackel jagdlich aus und hierzu gehört eingeschränkt auch die Wasserjagd nebst dem notwendigen Apportieren des geschossenen Flugwilds. Zu diesem Zweck verwende ich dieses Apportel. Doch bisher zeigt mein Hund hieran noch kein reges Interesse, sodass ich ich über dessen Wirkung und dem Ausbildungsziel derzeit keine Aussage treffen kann.Davon unabhängig macht das Apportel selbst für mich einen ausreichend robusten Eindruck, sodass ich von dieser Warte aus dieses Objekt empfehlen kann.
