I use a MS Surface and the USB-C inlets are high up on the computer frame and this tail is long enough to lay flat on the counter. Great product!

Such a small footprint for a docking station. Works perfectly with my HP Elitebook. Makes it easy to connect my home office. Compared with the HP docking station I have at work, this is a bargain at 80% less. I am thinking of purchasing a 2nd one for my home laptop. Excellent, durable design.

I bought this because I bought a new computer which only has USB C input ports, and I need to get data off of old USB-A jump drives, SD cards (mostly from cameras), and also run meetings using the HDMI capability to display the online meeting on a TV in the meeting room. The first meeting I ran using this hub connected to a TV went perfectly! I like that this one hub connects a lot of my various storage media to my new computer.
