Works great for multiple birds
Excellent way to get the most perch area out of the space in your cage. I have six budgies in a massive 5 foot cage and this is a great perch for dissolving pecking order disputes over which higher up perch each bird gets to use. The natural bumps in the wood are their favorite way to get rid of itchy pin feathers. I wish there were multiple anchorage points in order to orient this customizable perch onto the side of a cage, but it’s still one of my favorite perches to use in each cage setup. I’ve had it for months, and it seems very durable!

I got the 1pc L, it’s big, I should have got the M. I Didn’t pay enough attention to measurements. But it’s a good product definitely purchase again probably the smaller one.

The birds love it..
I just wish it was a couple of inches longer from the top to the first perch. My birds love hopping along the perches, but the top one is so close to the top of the cage, I opted to use it as a separate perch. Aside from that, the width of the main branch and the perches is good, it’s lightweight, so easy to handle, stable, and easy to clean. It only comes with one set of washers and one wing nut, so if you decide to utilize the individual perches, you’ll want to take one with you to the hardware store and get some extras. Cheap, and for me, not an inconvenience.

My Kind of Perch
Love this functional multiple perch. Each perch is situated opposite of each other which keeps them cleaner longer due to not catching droppings from the higher perch. Works GREAT for me. I strongly recommend.

Clean very thoroughly *added update
The 13″ branch itself is very large, made from sturdy wood, nice natural bark, and sturdy connections – however mine arrived filthy and unsafe to use. It had some green/yellow mold or rust inside the plastic of three pieces so I need to scrub with bleach solution and let completely dry before using. The product itself doesn’t look damaged, so after a clean up will see how the birds like it.** Added Update 03/29/2022 **The yellow growth/stain on the branches scrubbed off fairly easy with bleach, and didn’t damage the bark. Air dried for a few weeks, then scrubbed with soap and water, dried another week and the branches looked/felt very clean. So I placed it in the cage, and all our 3 parakeets took to it right away (: They love it, and chose to sleep in it most nights. The stacked branches are staggered so the birds don’t poop on each other. Overall, it was worth a little scrubbing

Well made item. The perches screw into the upright on concealed metal housings making it very study. The assembled item has a good screw length to be able fix it the top of the cage firmly.I have a large cage with 5 budgies it and they find the item great fun to chase each other around or to simply stand on for a snooze or preen. Recently they have started roosting on it at night and, luckily, given the position of the perches they donât end up pooping on each other.The item is sturdy enough that I have inserted a hook in the bottom of the stem and attached a 5 ring toy. The budgies seem enjoy that although hanging upside down by one foot whilst chewing on a plastic ring is not my idea of a fun filled day!

I ordered three of these and one was completely different to the other. Hands are bad today so can’t take a photo. There was an extra screw bit on the bottom for something to be attached and one of the perches had a screw bit on it but nothing to screw it too

The horizontal perches are too narrow for a cockatiel. It’s fine for an occasional perch (in a day cage with other options), but I wanted this for her sleep cage. The vertical stick is fine, so I’ve repurposed, but wouldn’t buy again. Fine for smaller birds, quality was good, just too narrow.

It’s very thick for my birdies. I have a goldfinch and for his paws this is a thick tree, pay attention to who will order for a canary or a goldfinch and similar small birds. It’s good for the length.but the thickness is not suitable Thickness is suitable for large parrots, but the length will be small there can fit one parrot that is not large I thought they would be a little longer and thinner But I will not return, it will take a lot of time and possibly money to return two branches from Ireland. Just be careful it’s not for little paws. The photo shows a comparison with the thickness of my goldfinch perch and the thickness of these branches that I ordered.
