Been a big fan of Bulova for years. This piece does not disappoint. Wear it for work, then wipe it down and wear it to dinner with my Ladyship. Compliments in both venues. Long live Bulova!

Great submarine style starter watch. A+
I’ve worn this watch almost every day for the last year and absolutely love it. I’ve worn it for almost every occasion you can think of and it looks just as much at home in formal wear at work as it does out on the weekends or working on my car. As others have said, it looks and feels much more expensive than it really is and the weight feels comparable to watches of the same style that cost thousands of dollars. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it, including a couple older guys asking if it was an Omega (maybe someday). It’s been surprisingly accurate and for a ~$200 watch the lume works really well at night; I’m pretty confident that this watch would last a lifetime if you took care of it. That being said, I didn’t baby this watch at all and 100% expected it to take some scratches over the last year. For someone who likes the submariner style that’s looking for a quality first (or cheaper) watch, I really can’t think of a better option.That being said, I do have a few negatives for this watch:- The black rotating bezel scratches pretty easily and the paint has started to wear off, revealing the stainless steel underneath. I’ve put this watch through the ringer over the last year so the scratching/wear doesn’t surprise me at all, but just something to be aware of- The mineral glass doesn’t seem to be anti-reflective at all and was scratched within ~9 months of use. Can’t really ask for all that much for $200 with daily use, but it does drive me a little crazy if it’s really bright outside.

Absolutely accurate
After 40 years as a Seiko devotee, I had run through the solar, self winding, and battery powered watches. Solar quit charging after 3 years, self winding was never accurate even after 2 trips to the jeweler, and decided to move on. The Bulova is equal in readability, comfort, price, and style. And it is dead accurate.

Very durable and quality made watch. I was skeptical to buy a watch online, however, this watch does not disappoint. It’s good enough for every day wear or for a special night out. Great value!

Beautiful watch
This watch looks and feels great. It is large watch but strikingly beautiful. The band is large. I had to take three links out. If you are on the fence about this watch, I recommend you get it. Edit: I wish the hands were easier to see in the dark.

Nice watch
This is a nice Watch. We got it for our son for Christmas, only complaint is we had to take it to a jeweler to have links taken out of the band to fit his wrist. Not the end of the world just a bummer for him on Christmas to not be able to wear his new watch.

Bulova Marine Star Watch
The watch is brand new. Bought as a Series B but could not find any slight defect in the watch. I has bought a Marine Star watch thirty (30) years ago and loved it. It still works but it shows signs of age. I was thrilled when the new Marine Star was delivered. Works great, looks great and I know will out live me. Thanks

Super nice watch
Bought this watch for my son, who collects nice watches. He was absolutely loved it. Heavy, quality feel. Big watch, but he’s a big guy, so the size was perfect. Only disappointment was that the jeweler was closed on Christmas so he had to wait to wear it. Very satisfied, great watch for a great price.

Just recently purchased the Bulova Marine Star 98B230 and was so impressed with its superb engineering quality, precision time keeping prowess, impressive looks, that I decided to pull the trigger and purchase the Bulova 98B203 … It’s quality is outstanding, and that Rolex Submariner look ,but minus”I have to mortgage my home to afford it” allows me to wear this timepiece everyday without the worrythat I could damaged it, or have it stolen ..,,… The Bulova looks, feels, and keeps precision time like a watch worth far more than what I paid for it ….. I highly recommend this Bulova timepiece to anyone wanting an everyday watch they’ll be delighted to show and wear on any occasion…,

Very happy in all respects with the watch. My only suggestion is that the package should be wrapped in bubble wrap before being put in the plastic pot bag – not a problem in my case but should be better protected.
