Definitely worked on my puppy as a probiotic.
I’m not sure how good this is at removing plaque on dog’s teeth because we started using this on our 6 week old puppy, so she didn’t have any. She did have puppy breath, which isn’t completely helped by this, but perhaps it works some. However, it definitely works as a probiotic. We were having to wait 7 hours or more after feeding her puppy food (her mother began refusing to nurse the litter, so we had to get her early). Even now at 9 weeks old, she will still take a very long time to have a bowel movement after eating if we don’t add this powder to her food. She now eats solid puppy food, and this helps her go within 30-45 minutes (sometimes less lol). It is a fine, green powder that doesn’t have much of a smell to it. (I wish it smelled like mint or something, but even the doggie bones to clean teeth don’t have that nice toothpaste smell. So dogs must not like mint or something, ha!) It definitely doesn’t have a BAD smell to it, kind of a neutral scent, but it’s definitely a scent for dog food or supplements. There is a small scoop inside the jar, & you place as many scoops as is required for the amount of food your dog eats. Right now ours eats 3/4-1 cup of food at each feeding, so she gets about 1 scoop full of the dental powder on top of her food. I do notice that a bit of it ends up on the bottom of her bowl since she dives in like she’s starving to death, knocking the powder off the top. She doesn’t really lick it out of her bowl afterward, so I have to wash it out. I’ve tried to get her to, but that’s not happened yet. It still works, even though she’s not ingesting the entire scoop. In the 3 weeks we’ve used it, she hasn’t had a build-up of plaque or completely foul breath. We also brush her teeth with a doggie toothbrush at night, so I’m sure that helps. I’d definitely recommend this if you can’t wait hours after dinner for your dog or puppy to go to the bathroom (waking you in the middle of the night!).

Not Sure if Effective
It is hard to tell if this is effective. We added to the dog’s food, per the recommended quantity. It was hard to say if it made much of a difference. The dogs are older, so that may be a factor. After consuming the entire thing, I could not tell if this really impacted teeth cleanliness or breath. I’m not sure it cleaned any better than typical chew treats. I would probably not choose this product again.

I have been using this product for a while and it really works to keep my dog’s teeth clean. Even at 4½ she doesn’t have discoloration on her teeth, or bad breath. I recommend this highly for your dog’s teeth.

This product is so easy to use, works quickly and effectively. I would recommend this product to anyone who is concerned with taking care of their dogs dental health. My dog doesn’t notice or mind having this scooped and mixed into her food and her teeth are brighter and whiter and her breath is always fresh. I would give this product 10 out of 5 stars if I could and we plan to continue to purchase and use this for the foreseeable future.

NOT A FAN
THIS IS THE 3RD DENTAL POWDER FOR MY PUPPER THAT I’VE TRIED. THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST OF THE 3. IT HAS A BIT OF AN ODOR THAT I WASN’T A FAN OF, BUT THE BIGGER ISSUE IS THAT MY DOG WASN’T A FAN OF THE TASTE AND THE POWDER LEFT A HORRIBLE RESIDUE IN HER BOWL. ALL IN ALL, I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS TO OTHERS.

This powder does seem to work on my dog’s teeth. She is 16 and has had alot of her teeth removed. She is now having whiter teeth after using it for 3 weeks. Still has plaque. Will hope this gets better with use.
