Love it! It’s expensive, but worth it! Just get it!
Love this adapter. I wanted to go out of my way and get the more expensive option for the lens adapter when getting my Canon R5 to use my L series EF lenses. The performance is awesome and the added control ring feature (completely customizable) is AWESOME. I know it’s pricey guys, but if you’re going to be using EF lenses on your RF mount, just do yourself a favor and get the best quality option so you can at least have the closest thing to an actual RF lens. If it’s not necessary for you, I get it, but I have so many friends who use off brand adapters, and it just ruins the performance of the lenses. Not to mention, this adapter looks so DOPE on my R5… it doesn’t even feel like I’m using an adapter, it genuinely feels like an extension of my camera! 🙂

This adapter has worked flawlessly
There is nothing I do not like about this adapter, except the price. I wanted to stick with Canon products so I was willing to pay more for guaranteed compatibility. This adapter has saved me a lot of money as there is no way I could afford that change all of my EF lenses to the new RF style. I am not a professional photographer and this adapter gave me the opportunity to replace my lenses as I am able to afford new ones without losing any of the functionality of my EF lenses. I did not buy the cheapest lens adapter but I did buy the middle of the Canon offering.

Mounting L series lens on a Canon R8
Adapter fits very well. No wobble even with long lens. All lens controls work as expected. I don’t notice any sharpness difference between my lenses from my 5d III to my R8 with this adapter.

Much needed for my old lenses.
I recently had to upgrade from a Canon 5D Mark II to a Canon Eos R5. Since I was strapped for cash and couldnât buy new lenses along with the new camera body I bought this mount adapter to use with my old EF lenses. Itâs small enough that it doesnât add much weight, but it mounts securely and easily and seems very durable. My focus still works well with it. I havenât had any issues with its stability at all. Iâm very happy with this purchase as it helped me make the leap to a new camera without coating a fortune.

Canon Ring Mount Adapter EF-EOS R
Recently, I purchased the Canon EOS R50 Camera for my birthday. I have owned the Canon Rebel t3i and t7i for several years but I wanted a less heavier camera since I do not always like using a iPhone for taking pictures, buying the control ring is an added luxury. I am not a professional photographer but since I have retired it’s just a hobby and fun for me to do something else while out and about other than sit with a crochet hook or knitting needles with my hands in motion working a a scarf while in public. The control ring works as described I am happy with my purchase and to be an option that is compatible with Canon.

Cost Effective Solution
Great way to adapt older EF lenses to the newer R style bodies. Image is perfect and the connection seems secure. Its more expensive than some 3rd party adapters, but well worth the piece of mind to just stick with OEM equipment.

Check Lens Compatibility
This appears to be a fine product. It fit the camera and my EF lens just fine. However, I found out that the Canon R10’s auto focus system with this adapter is not compatible with my Tamron 18mm to 400mm lens causing the Tamron lens to hunt for proper focus. After two or three attempts it stops trying and still out of focus.

After attaching this to my camera i liked how nice and snug it felt. But what really stood out to me, that i really like is the control ring. And I wish all canon lens had this, is the click in place as you spin it. Makes it more secure in place and cant be easily bumped out of place. And yes the click is silent. If your looking for high quality then this product is worth it and for that I give it a 5 star.

I decided to go with the Canon made adapter as I was hearing about either loose or too tight connection to lenses with third party ones, the control ring works really well adding an extra control dail at my finger tips (use for ISO), no issues with focus or image stablisation with the lens, I only have one issue and that is the price for offical Canon products, but that is the camera world.
