Very stylish and functional
I’m very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while I’m wearing them. Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them:Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, that’s good news. 10/10Functionality: I must say, I can’t work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but I’m yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10Privacy: I’m glad Amazon didn’t go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. I’d not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when it’s on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, I’m yet to consistently find it while I’m wearing the glasses. 9/10Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. It’s nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10Quality: I got the Carrera version and it’s a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, I’d give this a 9/10.

Nice glasses but useless without a charger
**2nd update**They contacted me a few weeks after they started selling the charger on its own, telling me it was available for purchase. I had already bought extra chargers. I still love the glasses, Im just still raw about getting passed around when I had a legitimate issue. Send me a charger or credit me for one and ill update my review.***UPDATE***AMAZON says to contact Carrera for warranty for the charger, Carrera emailed me and “If you purchased your frame from a third-party retailer, they will handle any warranty claims if your purchase was less than 1 (one) year ago.” Amaozon is a 3rd party retailer according to Carrera. Thats a direct quote. I have several emails back and forth with Carrera, this is still not resolved. Amazon customer service has disconnected calls and chats on me, and has had no useful assistance.I was told by Amazon customer service that they do not have replacement chargers and that I would have to call Carrera to try to get another charger from them. I was hung up on by customer service, I find it really hard to believe they do not have chargers and even more hard to believe that policy allows the representatives to pass off the problem to Carrera . I have the extended warranty also.

Great sound, great style
good quality, great style but a little pricey for what you get. If they were like $200, I would have given them 5 stars.

Sleek, Smart, and Simply Unforgettable!
I recently purchased the Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa, and let me tell you, they have completely transformed my daily routine! As someone who’s always on the go, I was searching for a fusion of style and technology, and these glasses deliver on both fronts.First off, the Sprinter black frames are modern and chic—a sleek design that doesn’t scream “techy” but feels effortlessly stylish. I’ve received numerous compliments, not only for the fashion but also the outfit-enhancing appeal of the polarized lenses—perfect for those sunny days when you want to protect your eyes without compromising on visibility. Now, let’s talk about the features. Connecting these audio glasses to Alexa was truly a breeze; it took mere minutes right out of the box! I’ve found it incredibly handy to control my smart home devices, check the weather, and even manage my to-do lists, all without pulling out my phone. Plus, the sound quality is surprisingly good—crisp, clear audio that enhances my music experience without drowning out the world around me.Although the primary feature is the Alexa integration, I’ve also enjoyed using the hands-free functionality while jogging or cycling. The lightweight design allows me to dash out the door without feeling weighed down, and the open-ear audio design ensures I’m aware of my surroundings—safety first! One note: remember to adjust the volume appropriately, as sometimes the ambient noise can clash with the audio output during busy times, but it’s a minor trade-off for the overall smart experience. In summary, if you’re searching for a pair of smart audio glasses that combine style, function, and that cool factor we all desire, look no further than the Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa. They are truly a game-changer and worthy of 5 glittering stars! Highly recommend for anyone looking to step into the future on a bright and fashionable note!

Stylish & Functional
My new favorite pair of sunglasses. The ability to listen to music or make calls without having earbuds jammed into your ear is amazing. These are also great if you already have echo devices and connected “smart” products. I use these over all of my other sunglasses. Great for wearing while walking the dog or just out and about running errands. I expected the frames to be somewhat bigger than normal sunglasses but they aren’t. You can’t even tell there is some magical tech inside. The only problems is that I love these so much now I need to buy regular frames without a tint so I’m not that guy wearing sunglasses inside. Great product!
