Good case, but…
I’ve used Case-Mate cases for years. They are well made and very durable. I expect this one to be the same.I do have a few issues with this case. As with the last few I’ve purchased from them, what the pictures show and the reality are 2 different things. In the picture, the color/shimmer is silver based but it really is gold based. It’s not terrible, but the silver is why I purchased it so I’m a bit disappointed.The other issue for me is the shape of the case. The last 2 iPhones I had had rounded edges so the cases were rounded. To me, this was extremely comfortable to hold. This phone has a straight edge and the case is also straight on the edges. I find it extremely boxy to look at but more importantly, find that it is not as comfortable to grip. I have to make a conscious effort to get a good grip when I pick it up as I’ve dropped it more times in the last few days than in the last year with my old rounded Case-Mate case.And just an observation, the side buttons on this case are bigger (which isn’t a problem) but they also stick out more which means that when I pick up the phone and squeezing to get that good grip, I’m pressing the buttons and taking frequent accidental screen shots.

Clear plastic was yellow
I have had this same case for nearly 3 years, and it’s finally showing its age after a couple of drops on the sidewalk. But it’s durable and cute and I love it. So I bought this one to replace it, and it was so yellowed on my white phone that it made my whole phone look old and dirty. And the buttons didn’t quite line up right. I returned it, thinking I must’ve gotten a fake. But then I ordered another one directly from Case Mate and had the exact same yellowing issue! I then ordered ones that didn’t have clear plastic and finally they looked good and fit right. So.. 5 stars for the case itself, but 0 stars for the clear ones because they’ve apparently been sitting in a hot warehouse getting yellow for the past few years.

I was really excited to receive this. It looks great. I’ve definitely received compliments on it for that reason. However, I’ve noticed little air bubbles under the service overtime. It also scratches easy. Perhaps the quality could be improved.

I love this case! It is sparkly, and eye catching! Just what I wanted!However, the buttons don’t line up? The case I purchased was for a 13 (regular), and the spacing for the silent mode switch is WAY off. To the point where it bothers me lol. I can get past this usually, but sometimes when I look at it.. it just irks me.Case works good though! I’ve been using case mate products for several years now, always great product!

The case is great. I got two clear one, the stayed clear for a bit but then turned brown at the sides. It’s not too terrible though.
