It could be a couple inches bigger
So I bought a new L8 do some live recordings for the high school band…. and once again we got shut down as it’s not safe to have 100 students in a room for a recital program these kids practiced for months to perform. Not your problem. However, the L8 fits nicely into the case if I take out all the stuff as instructed, but seriously, another couple of inches to fit in the power supply and maybe extra AA batteries would have been a plus.

Perfect fit!
This case is unlike a Pelican or SKB. The plastic is thinner , lighter and a bit flexable but it does not feel cheap. Although, that doesn’t mean it doesnt get the job done. The thick perforated foam where you place the equipment is just perfect for the Zoom Livetrak L-8 ( As you see in the pictures I uploaded ). It is also sandwiched between a top and bottom foam layer. So it keeps the mixer snug, secure and without movement. Between the mixer and case being lightweight , it’s easy to transport.

Ingenious Customizable Box
I ended up getting this when the first box was going to be too small. This one was a little too big and more costly than I was looking for, but it certainly fits… along with some added items.I mentioned before with the other purchased box, being able to customize to fit. I would recommend laying out your items to assure your fit before pulling apart the foam squares. You don’t get a 2nd chance at it.It is reasonably sturdy and should offer reasonable protection with the foam system. Over all, I’m quite pleased with it.
