Quality: This scratching post is true to size, 33 inches tall. The box it arrives in is not that big or heavy; I was actually surprised how well it fit into a box that size! It comes in four separate sections; a bottom piece, a top piece, and two bigger middle sections. There is a smaller bag that contains screws, spacers, and a small Allen wrench. It was pretty simple to put together and it also comes with brief directions on how to assemble. The sisal is tight and good quality; did not have any tears, snags, or empty spots.Appearance: This is a beautiful scratching post, and not an eye sore in any way. It fits perfectly into any room and doesn’t take up much space. The balls that hang off the side are also very intriguing for the cat, which entices them to want to use it.My cat loves this scratching post! I put the sections together without the screws just to see how tall it was, and she immediately went to town scratching the sisal & playing with the balls that hang (one on each side). Now that it’s officially built and stable, she plays all through the day & evening.Overall, the value for the money is right on target. If you’re looking for a thicker, more stable base, you may need to pay for a more expensive one.Side note: Please excuse all the Christmas wrapping papers and clutter laying around. I was in the middle of preparing for the holiday when this arrived. Also – this video was taken prior to any screws being put in the different sections which is why it appears wobbly. My cat attacked it before I could secure it. It is stable once properly screwed in place!

High Quality – your cat will love!
This is the best scratching post I’ve purchased for my cats, and we have gone through many. We have had it for a few weeks, and it has barely begun to fray. It is easy to put together and difficult to knock over. My cats often climb up and perch on top of it. It has been effective in keeping them from destroying my furniture. Highly recommend, we certainly plan to purchase a couple more to put around the house.

As an actual cat scratcher, it is great. Tall for adult cats, with a sturdy base that prevents tipping over but…the double-ended thread ‘screw’ that attaches the 2 top pieces do not have a ‘stop’ on it and I had to use a thin pair of forceps to keep it from just spinning when assembling. That said, I ended up wrapping a small piece of tape in the middle of the screw as a stopper. My cats love and actually use it, so it’s a win for me.

Perfect for my two indoor cats
I got two of these to replace the ones we’ve had for a few years. They held up well, but were ready to be replaced. My cats prefer the sisal type of material, which is what these are mostly made of. They arrived fast and well packaged. They were a breeze to put together with the included screws and tool. The cats have both given their seal of approval. The height is perfect too – tall enough for them to reach up and really get a good satisfying streth. The dangling balls are cute and I know will be a hit with the girls. The posts are very sturdy. I can’t imagine they would tip over ever.

I have two cats and they are pretty picky when it comes to scratching posts. Both of them absolutely love this post!! I have had it for a long time and it is still in great shape. It tends to wobble but if you place a weight on it, it works terrifically. They love the scratching ability.

Tower is large enough for the cats to reach high for their scratches. They like the square nature of it and I’ve seen 7 of our 7 cats use it. We’ve even had 3 of 7 cats climb up and perch on the top which I didn’t expect. Is plenty stable and sturdy on a carpet floor. Easy to assemble, came with an Allen wrench and instructions.

Needs More Weight, but Great!
My kitty LOVES this tall scratching post!My only dig is that when she’s really playful and launches herself off the base, it slides. She’s not a Manx, just an average American Shorthair, so she’s not THAT strong. If it had more weight on the base, it’d be perfect.
