Genius invention!
I love this thing! My female cat got spayed, and she wore the cone for 2 days. I bought this recovery suit on the first day after feeling so sorry for my poor girl. It said it would arrive in 2 days. She was so drugged from the surgery, she couldn’t walk more than a few steps because every few steps her head would go down and she’d get stuck on the rug over and over. She struggled so hard to navigate her litter box. She couldn’t eat her food. She was super disoriented and falling off of things. She was insanely freaked out about everything with it on, and she couldn’t calm down. She was absolutely miserable until we took it off. She also got it off 3 times, and she’s a licker. It took her those full 2 days just to come back to normal from being on the drugs. Then she would lick the walls of the cone over and over like a crazy cat. It was really funny, but so sad. When we got the suit I put it on her right away. She didn’t like it, and walked super funny, but only took about 15 minutes to get accustomed to it. She is 9 months old, weighs about 6 pounds, and is 10 inches from neck to tail on top. I got her the medium. It fits perfectly. It may be a tiny pinch tight length wise, but still perfect. She still walks funny, and still hates it. But it is so so so much better than the cone, in every way. $10 was so incredibly worth it. She licks everywhere she can, except for where it covers and on the incision. So the incision is safe. I’ve checked on it twice now. We’re at 7 days after her surgery and everything is healing up nicely. I will say, she’s normally very playful and also very playful with my boy cat, but with the suit on she’s super mellow and doesn’t play at all. Which works out good for the healing process. All in all, I will always use a recovery suit instead of a cone. I would highly recommend!

A wonderful suit!
This has been an enormous help to the eight month old kitten we are caring for. He was hit by a car necessitating a rear leg amputation. In addition, he has a broken pelvis. Wearing a hard plastic cone only addedto his misery. After trying to make one of these using a onesie, I was thrilled to find this stretchy post-surgery suit. I measured him and using the size chart as a reference and ordered size medium which fits him pretty well. I sewed up the leg opening of the leg that was amputated to protect it from his licking. I also put a large square of soft fleece over the wound just for additional protection. Now that the cone has been taken off our little guy is sleeping soundly and eating so much better. He has done his business (both 1 and 2) without any mess at all. I was concerned that he might be able to wriggle out of it, but it is snug enough that it doesn’t give him much room to do that but also long enough that he is comfortable. I’m delighted with this product.

Doesn’t quite fit right
Kept it as a back up in case other body suits (see 3 pc fruit) didn’t work out. The others worked great. The fabric on this one wasn’t as nice as the other, and the large seemed too big for my 6 pound, 6 month olf baby.

Great product!
Such a great idea for a cat (or animal) that can’t lick their belly. Got a few for my cat, who isn’t a fan of wearing things. She took right to it and obviously so adorable. I ended up needing to order a smaller size for her so it was a bit snug and better fitted. The fabric was soft and seemed thin enough to be breathable.
Not so great –
Rips pretty easily, sizing is off
It was easy to put on, but the sizing is off. i measured my cat and it matched a medium. the medium is a loose fit and a small is too tight. for reference, my cat is 5 months old and 5.5lbs. she also is able to bite it and make a hole pretty easily. the onesie is definitely soft and comfortable but the sizing and durability is bad.

Purrfect!
This was the perfect alternative for our cat having to wear a cat cone, which we tried and didn’t work well. Of all the cat onesies I tried, this Torjoy Kitten Onesie fit my 13lb male cat perfectly. He had to have an abscess removed. It was located near the inside of one of his back legs. This Torjoy Kitten Onesie was the only one that allowed him to urinate without messing himself! We were stunned as other onesies we tried, he would mess himself even though we adjusted the onesie. Thankfully I had ordered 2 onesies, as we had to change his onesie nightly as puss from the surgical site would stain the onesie. Velcro very secure, we didn’t worry about our cat wiggling his way out (haha). Thank you so much for your product, it made our cat’s recovery less stressful for all of us.

Used item/open package
This package was already opened when I received it. The picture shows the top portion of bag is cut/torn off. Upon opening the bag, the item was not neatly folded and was covered in hair (see pictures). I bought this for wound care so putting the germs of an unknown previous animal onto my cat is unacceptable. I will say it appeared to be a slightly better quality material than expected and the print is clean and crisp. I appreciate the off-white color as well, definitely cute! So that’s a bummer.I started a return on this marked as “defective” because I object to this item being sent to anyone else after I return it, so they don’t have the same issue. This must be returned to seller. This could very well have been an isolated incident for this product but dissatisfied nevertheless. I wish Amazon made you select upon return whether item was used first because this sort of thing happens far too often with pet products.

Decent product for post-surgery
Just had my kitten spayed. She’s 6 months at 5.4 lbs, and I got a size medium, and it fits pretty well. The vet-supplied cone was just too restrictive, she could barely get to eat or drink. The suit allows her to move about and do her normal functions. I would recommend using a cone for the first couple of days just to prevent too much movement, but this suit is great at preventing licking. Only thing is I wish it had leg sleeves instead of just holes and an adjustable/drawstring neck. She is able to ease her legs out if she gets the neck opening down past her shoulders. But once she gets used to the suit, I’m hoping she won’t do that. Also I pinned the suit to her collar to help it from pulling down too far.

Appears to be of good quality. My Nala is now quite comfortable in it. It seems much more practical than wearing a cone after surgery. She is able to eat and drink easily and move about home.

Purrfect for kittens after their spay so they don’t lick their incision.

Really cute. Nice and thin. No cumbersome zippers. Stays on, you don’t have to undo it for your cat to use the bathroom

I ordered the medium size after doing all the measurements so beware and unfortunately they are too big. Luckily I got a smaller one elsewhere. My little girl needed it for her spay. I will have to donate these now as wel couldn’t use them. Cute design though!

This onesie shrunk on its first wash, then didn’t fit the cat anymore and she figured out how to wiggle out of it. Not helpful for protecting her surgery site at that point and we had to go back to the cone of shame and awkwardness.
