The cooling effect will continue on at least 5min after washing. For reference, I have acne prone sensitive skin. And I’ve used it several times. There’s no smell whatsoever. I’m not sure it’s suitable for every sensitive-skin individual, it does not irritate my skin at all although it’s really cold when applying.
