Clean litter every time for the kitties
If you don’t want to clean up after your cat every time it uses the bathroom then this is the product for you. It works flawlessly. It dumps after the cat does its business and your cat has clean litter for the next use every time. Tons more sanitary than litter boxes. Also has lots of features that can be utilized through the app as well. This is my second one of these. My first one is going strong as well. Had to get a second one because we added a couple more kitties to the family. Yes the litter robot is a bit pricey but it is well worth the money. I have been a customer of litter robot/Whisker for a pretty good while now and we love there products.

Believe me: I know takes some elbow grease to do it – especially if you don’t clean it daily and your cat likes aiming for the side of the box. Not surprisingly, I was skeptical about mechanical devices performing this task that requires not only some coordination, but strength to boot.This litter box works, pure and simple. It works because the design is extremely clever. The circular enclosure ensures that there are no corners to hold on to clumped litter. And because the litter sits in a sort-of rubber hammock, there is no plastic wall for damp, clumped litter to adhere to. Similarly, the turning mechanism is extremely simple, and through its simplicity comes reliability.Set up is easy. And setting up the software – while optional – is also easy. And it is highly recommended because it lets you track your cat’s usage and his/her weight. It also lets you know when you need to empty the waste bin and add more litter. It also lets you know that the robot is working.This litter box does allow a very small amount of odor to escape, but this can be easily remedied by putting in the scent packets and/or some activated charcoal packets in the waste bin or simply emptying the waste bin more frequently (eg every week as opposed to every other week).Yes, the device is big. It has to be big because it is three objects in one: the litter box, the waste bin, and the human cleaning it. Look at it that way and you can see that they made a brilliantly small device. And despite its size, it is fairly light. Perhaps some gripping handles would have been a good idea but really, this is a minor thing as the device is still easy to carry.My only complaint is that the globe is not more rigid, so it does flex a bit when you carry it. For $700, a bit of fiberglass inside to reinforce it would have been appropriate. Regardless, this is also very minor.Overall, this is a well-earned five stars from me. And one of the exceedingly few I give.

Best purchase I made!
I was hesitant to spend the money for this litter box but I thought I would take a chance on it and I’m happy I did! I have 3 cats who have 3 litter boxes but only used1 so I thought it might work for us. It took 1 cat 1 hour after I set it up (I didn’t follow the advice to not turn it on right away) and all 3 used it immediately! There is no smell and I don’t have to always be checking since our 2 dogs like to be on cat poop patrol! I set the clean cycle for 3 minutes so they don’t stand a chance! I feel now it’s worth the money for my time and never having to worry about scooping or having a house that smells like cats! I am hopeful that it lasts and will get the extended warranty to ensure it continues. Very pleased with it so far!

Was not impressed at all for the money. One cat refused to use. The one that did use it, their waste kept sticking to the sides and smearing. It didn’t solve any problems at all.

The one automatic litterbox that works as advertised.
I was initially put off by the high price tag, but you get what you pay for in this instance. Compared to other cheaper automatic boxes I’ve tried this one is a dream come true. Comes fully assembled and works right out of the box, plus my cat adapted to using it immediately. It’s quiet enough that it doesn’t scare him at all! The companion app also works perfectly and is intuitive to use; the scale has been helpful to track my cat’s weight since he’s on a diet right now. Traps odor perfectly as well, haven’t had any issues with smell despite how often it gets used. 5 stars.

I am pleasantly surprised that this works well for 3 cats. They adapted very quickly. A couple of items to note: Some of the urine clumps stick to the inside of the globe. I’m going to try Whiskers cat litter to see if that helps. Also, the seal strips came undone within the first month. Whiskers sent me a new set, complimentary as they should, however the process to install them is a bit complicated.UPDATE: installing the seal strips was easy….taking the unit apart to clean was also easy. It’s a keeper.

Although the shipping was a bit late due to postal strike and backlog for carriers, we received the litter robot a few days after Christmas on a Sunday!! Set it up and our cat was curious right away (mostly about the big box it came in)! He went in it right away to check it out and because we could use the same litter he always had before, he knew what to do! It’s set to clear about 7 minutes after the cat leaves and you have MANY options with it. The first night, the cat kept watching it and popping himself inside so it would stop its clearing action and then the cat would exit and wait until it started the clearing again. It was kind of funny to see him do this every 7 minutes about 4 times. After that first night, no one slept so we figured out you have an option for a “sleep mode” during the night. That fixed the issue right away and now about 4 days after the first night, we are all getting used to it! lol! We like that it weighs the cat and the clearing action is ultra quiet. Everyone is very happy with this awesome product and we’re all sleeping as usual again. Thank you!

The litter robot is very pricey. However, completely worth it. Do not get this if you don’t have a decent amount of space and a plug-in close by. Litter robot 4 is very easy to set up and the app is very easy to follow. For the most part, it works very well. The type of litter I use, World‘s best kitty litter does sometimes stick to the inner edge of, the liner. I have to knock the stuck on litter with a scoop, but it easily falls into the litter tray. I will see how they work out overtime but today I am very satisfied.

My cats absolutely hated it at first, they were scared of it. They didn’t even want to get near it so I had to keep using the old litter box, until they got used to the Robot being there, then placed the old litter next to the Robot, when I’d scoop the old litter I’d throw the waste into the litter robot so that my cats would see that’s where they’re supposed to poop/pee. Slowly I started scooping the old litter less so, my cats being high maintenance started using the Robot to get a clean litter then I simply removed the old one and finally after almost a year of buying the robot both my cats use it regularly and life with no scooping is beautiful.The product itself is great. No complaints. Worth the price once you get your cats to use it. Just be patient if they don’t use it right away.
