Comfortable and soft and warm…
Amazing and comfortable. Larger than the average product makes it so much more comfortable. Soft material makes it so wonderful and helps you sleep. This is the best sleeping bag I have ever gotten so I am ordering a second. This is a good product and worth a look.

Best cold weather sleeping bag !
I love this sleeping bag! I use it in my SUV for fall & winter camping.i keep this bag laid out in my SUV travel bed. It is huge! I can turn over in it, not feel restricted. I use an electric throw sized blanket inside it to warm it up.This is basically the same high quality heavy duty super size bag that Coleman has made for decades.Great purchase. I looked at others but I don’t like the slippery factor of the polyester bags. This one is more of a cotton canvas type outer material. Do not get it wet! Also this is a large heavy and bulky bag- NOT FOR BACKPACKING! It’s great when you have the room to toss it in with your gear. great for tent camping on an extra large cot, or on a good R-5 or above sleeping pad.But it’s so cushioned and spacious!I can cover my entire body with room for my 40 lb dog inside with me. I like to cover my head to get warm n fall asleep- I am 5’5” tall and 150 lbs. it’s a bit extra but it’s so much better than being cramped in a bag that is just barely long enough!Coleman has always been a great brand and this sleeping bag does not disappoint! Get one while you can, it’s seriously a top of the line product.

Like a Big Warm Hug While You Are Sleeping
These sleeping bags were just what I was looking for. Low/chilly temperature rated but soft flannel lined interior (I don’t like the slippery poly material most low temp bags are made of). While we didn’t need the extra large size, the added bonus of them being extra wide and long was wonderful and I didn’t feel bound and mummified. I purchased two of these bags and they zippered together really easily – the zippers are sturdy and glide together smoothly. Added bonus that our two kitty cats loved the warm and soft interior so much they snuggled with us under the covers (usually they like the bottom of the bed) all night on our camping trip. We were warm and comfortable and didn’t need to turn on the heater in the RV during the night. I would absolutely purchase these again if I needed additional sleeping bags.

Good quality, but huge
Used it camping last month. I loved it. Was comfortable and warm. I’m 5, 7″ and 230lb and it fit with plenty of room to spare. It’s thick, and I did fear being a bit too warm in it. But that was not the case. The temperature when I camped went down to 40F and I didn’t feel the need to zip up. I wore long sweats and a Tshirt to sleep. I anticipated needing to get up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom, so I dressed with that in mind in going to sleep. Mainly cuz it’s so big and I didn’t feel cold air come under the top. Had the temp gone down to 30F, I probably would have zipped up. The bag is definitely long enough and could easily fit someone 6’5″ and someone who is at least 75lb bigger than me. It breathed well and I was not too warm. it’s big and is NOT a backpacking bag. It’s only for car camping or home use. The product is well made and the zipper is strong and holds up well and it easy to get to inside and outside of the bag once you’re in it. I tested it by sleeping in it on my bed the day I got it and the flannel feeling inner liner felt comfortable. It feels like a warm hug is the best way to describe it. The con on this product is it doesn’t come with a protection bag to store it in. There’s a strong string to keep it together once you roll it up, but that’s it. Why skimp on that Colemn?

IT’S HUGE! And I am pleased!
I used Coleman sleeping bags when I was growing up, but in my early twenties I got detracted by all the trendy ultralight synthetic, leg cramping, mummy style backpacking bags with funny names like my North Face Cat’s Meow, you know, the ones that came in bright colors and had exorbitant price tags. But… now that I am old and wise I wanted a bigger bag that would keep me warm, wouldn’t slide off my sleeping pad or down to the foot of my hammock, nor break the bank to purchase. So after some serious research I found this Coleman Heritage Big and Tall bag and I am well pleased. It’s well made with good materials and excellent stitching. It’s also thick, fluffy and soft inside, warm, and BIG! Plenty of room to stretch out and move around. I’ve seen reviewers stating their bags were not the size advertised. I measured mine right out of the box and it is 81 inches long and 38.50 inches wide. But it is growing as the loft fluffs out after being released from its small shipping box. BTW, like many of the higher priced sleeping bags, Coleman abides by EN/ISO testing protocols to temperature-rate their bags, which is a high standard for all sleeping bags. I must say, this is not a backpacker’s sleeping bag, yes, it’s a bit heavy, but it is far too large to carry on your back. I’ll be using a thin sleeping bag liner to avoid the need to wash it in a commercial washer and dryer too often. I’ll be using this one for my truck camping here in the Missouri Ozarks.

Excellent Quality and Warm!
I remember having sleeping bags like this when I was a young child and these are the same great quality. Very warm and oversized. Lots of room to move around. The zipper is nice and doesn’t seem to get jammed at all! The are a bit of a challenge to roll back up for storage since they are so big and fluffy.

thrilled
With the name Coleman on it, I figured it would be good. And it is great. I’m average sized male, but I bought this one for extra room. Glad I did. Heavy, warm, just fantastic. And the zipper is heavy-duty and solid. It doesnt catch on the fabric and it doesnt appear as if it will tear. Great product.

The most comfortable bag ever.

Excellent sleeping bag.I’m not overly tall but wanted a sleeping bag that is roomy enough to feel like a regular bed. This one is perfect. The flannelette lining is super cosy and i can pull it up over my head without my feet getting all cramped. Highly recommended for anyone who doesnt need a compact sleeping bag

I’ve owned many a Coleman sleeping bag through driving trucks for last 25 years and although they’ve worn away through constant use they’ve been cosy on the coldest nights. I’ve always kept to the cotton outer shell, tried a Vangoo once and once lasted 20 mins as I felt I was sliding of the bed. My first Coleman was the classic xl and I loved it but it was discontinued and I’ve tried to get a bag that came as big as it’s dimensions as a person that’s 6’ 5” tall trying to get a bag that length has been difficult until now when I had seen the Heritage bag on Amazon although a bit pricey it’s dimensions were that of the classic xl so bought it there wasn’t any available in the UK market mines came from America and thought it be weeks before arriving not so 7 days was a record shipping.
